Personally imo. The shooting and it's ease of use was perfect for the first game. Literally anyone could play it. I like that.

With all of this content and hopefully no segmenting of the playerbase it has a good deal of player retention this time.

I did too, but the season pass splitting of content really stopped me from playing. The gameplay itself was great. So glad they stopped with that season pass stuff as well. Guess we'll be seeing some loot boxes.

They also showed off concept art of Kamino, Slave I vs Jedi Starfghter, phase 1 clones, and mentioned vulture droids.

Awesome how there seems to be much more variety this time around with regards to things like the animals and more playable characters like droids. They must know that fans put the original BF2 on a high pedestal. I bet this is gonna be like one of those things where the sequel is waaaay better than the original. This is going to be them going all out, BF3 be damned.

Kylo is confirmed playable in the single player campaign, so yes, the character himself is not locked behind pre-order walls.

Remember, the 2015 game was a necessary base to build this game on.

I'm glad so many people were willing to spend $100 on the early access build to finally give us a finished product.

Pretty much everything they've said about this has been great, can't believe I'm going to get excited for a battlefront game again. A real single player component is going to make it more likely I pick this up day one
