Well that was a great win for us today. Felt good to win a close one against Richmond considering those ones usually go the other way.

And yeah that Casboult kick was hilariously bad.

Plusside: Kept my multi alive and cashed out with Carlton ahead with 10 min togo. $200 profit!

Sydney kick a goal with about 3:30 left. Essendon up by 13.
Buddy kicks what looks like a goal with 2:20 left but is reviewed and inexplicably given a point. Essendon by 12.
Sydney kick another goal with 1:15 left. Essendon by 6.
Joe Daniher takes a massive mark in Sydney's attacking 50 with 50 seconds left.
Sydney get the ball back and Buddy kicks a point from 55 with 30 seconds left. Essendon by 5.
Goddard plays on from the kick-in and Papley smothers the kick to force it out for a thrown in.
From the throw in a kick is scrambled forward and Rohan marks one handed in the goal square with 15 seconds left. Kicks a goal after the siren to win.

This is great. No bombers mates can give me shit about the Tigers choking for the rest of the year now haha. But seriously, what was Goddard thinking? Better off kicking a torpe down the middle.

Sydney were winning for the majority of this game.... not like richmongs game... so yeh they can :p

I feel sorry for Essendmond tonight those 6 behinds by buddy the difference in the end. That last five minute of the game saw so many heroics from both sides. I lost my voice screaming and jumping up and down so much that last few minutes. They shouldn't have celebrated the win too early. Love the bloods.

Bombers fan here. Currently typing this while watching the recap on the saturday pregame show.

Still can't believe it. I was literally speechless for about 5 minutes after Buddy wobbled one into the goal square for Rohan. As for heroics from both teams, not from essendon. Daners took a screamer in defense with a minute or two left..... and then proceeded to pump it 50 meters downfield to a 1 on 1, which tippenwoodie lost, and it came straight back. Shoulda just held that up and chipped it around some. Goddards kick out smother. Bellchambers being out ruck in a crucial contest. Fucking Buddy doing the roving. Gleeson being out-muscled on the goal line and barely creating a contest.

Fuck me. I can't remember the last time I saw a team come back from 19 down with 3 and half left, let alone my team being on the receiving end
