Has the PC version gone up for order? Amazon only has XBO and PS4 version that I can find.
Origin, bro.

Hopefully.Bots?
Yep.Can't wait to play on Scorpio!
They patched in a very easy offline bots mode (called Skirmish) for the first game but didn't really do much for it in terms of including DLC maps and different game modes. I imagine they've expanded on it for the sequel.Bots?
Bots?
Blown away that local splitscreen coop is exclusive.
While i understand pc isnt naturally a couch co op system, its still baffling that they wouldn't include it when the entire code exists on other versions and has 0 cost implications.Blown away that local splitscreen coop is exclusive.
They won't confirm that just yet. I tried asking.
HA! really thanks for that :OIt's not DICE. It's Motive.
PC had 25-30k players.what is with no go?I really wanted to play the first one but I'm PC only so that was a no go. Let's hope they retain some players this time because I would like to jump in.
Wow, really?I just noticed space battles are only 24 players...
Damn it.
Wonder if they'll be able to best the graphics of Battlefront 1 with this?
It's already the best looking game of all time hands down IMO. So I think it would be ok if they didn't and just left it as it is and focused on optimization and gameplay.
I mean, look at this...
All it needs is some gameplay as amazing as the visuals to tie it all together and they could be sitting on a gold mine.
That was a cool premise in Tie Fighter. Yeah, I'm old.
Photos are nice but in gameplay graphics arent nice as these . Also map models and geometry was so bland compared to battlefield games

Wow, really?
Yep
24 players but with 40 ai ships too.
I hope they change it.This lives and dies for me on whether they have vehicle/other pick-ups again or actual things you can run to and climb in. First one was just too arcadey.

It's better if you can actually see the vehicles and climb in them
IGN said:You shouldnt just feel invested in your favourite picks, but like you truly deserved to break them out mid-battle. One of the most dogged criticisms of DICEs first Battlefront game was that it rarely made you feel like you earned its biggest rewards. Accessing gadgets, vehicles and nigh-unstoppable heroes via floating holographic coins might have made things a little smoother - no more TIE Fighter bunfights as whole teams tried to climb into one cockpit - but it was hardly satisfying. The fact that collecting those power-ups was mostly a matter of good luck at the expense of other players, and that those moments could end pretty suddenly only compounded the issue.
Executive producer Matt Webster summarises that problem well: it was a brief experience for the lucky few. Its clearly a rehearsed line, most likely because a major part of the multiplayer teams job has been to fix it. While the devs, again, wont delve deep into exactly how the system will work, were told that both heroes and vehicles will now work on what the team calls a resource-based system.
Yes Space Battles!
I don't know what platform to get it on.
I'd prefer PC because better graphics/performance over PS4 Pro/Scorpio and being able to play with KB/M. But I am worried that there won't be enough players on PC so would prefer it on PS4 but then I need to play with a controller
I originally bought Battlefront on PC but took forever to find games so bought it on PS4.
They're gone.

IGN said:While power-ups will seemingly still be scattered around the battlefield, the implication is that players will earn some kind of in-match currency for performing well, then making the decision to trade that in for a rideable Tauntaun(!), or saving it up to step into Darth Mauls yet-to-be obsolete boots (though that specific decision wont happen in a single match, as heroes and vehicles are tied to era-appropriate maps). It should also make for a more exciting battlefield experience - the devs openly admit that they want more heroes on the field at once, but that comes at the cost of making them easier to dispatch for regular troopers.
So no vehicles to climb in. More like a killstreak-esque system. I'm fine with this for heroes I guess, but I really wish they'd finally have given us classic Battlefield.
This stuff on Scorpio. Oh my. First one was abit of a let down but i am probably gonna cave. I am weak.
