Launching next month
A look at new updates for Pulse 3D wireless headsets.
Yes, they are good. Easily among the best headphones for that price (at least for actual listening). I haven't used the mic except one time, while my friend uses his Pulse 3D mic quite frequently and it sounds pretty good considering there's no mic arm. I prefer a standalone USB mic, so that's what I use.
I had to buy 2 headsets recently bc my platinum playstation ones broke (wear and tear snapped a cuff) and my gf needed one.
For $100 yes, if you don't want to just plug a pair of headphones into your controller. Is this headset worth it?
Thanks for the info! I might pick one up sometime soonFor $100 yes, if you don't want to just plug a pair of headphones into your controller.
I have it and I like it. Its comfortable, sounds good, and they just added an EQ for it on PS5. Not the best sound ever, but good. Connects fast & easy to the console. Good battery life too. And it works with PS4, PC, Mac, phones. Has a USB-C port for charging. Easy toggle on the earpiece for game & voice chat volumes. Comes with a 3.5mm headset cable for wired connection, too.
I love mine had them since launch.I've tried the Pulse 3D on PS5 and PC and sounds wonderful. Had Astro A40 before, 2018 model I think, with the mixamp and it's shit in comparison. What I like about Pulse 3D is the sound clarity of trebles and clean bass. Of course, I'm not an audiophile so maybe someone else would give a better feedback, but to me so far it's the best headset I've ever tested.
