Not to be a downer but just showing games is not an achievement, the games HAVE to impress. You shouldnt get an award just for showing up.
We just had a conference where literally 30 games were shown and not a single game was impressive or next gen in anyway.

That said, I am honestly blown away by Zelda's systems right now, and I was just talking about how star wars had that one incredible setpiece in the other thread. I still have the capacity to be impressed. lol. The devs just need to showcase this stuff better. More gameplay trailers focused on gameplay systems than CG trailers that look so similar they honestly blend in. I honestly couldnt tell you the difference between Bungie's Marathon, Jade Raymond's Gaas Game about billionares, and Firewalks GaaS game. Literally identical.
P.S Starfield impressed the shit out of me last year. I still post some of the gifs i cut from that trailer. We need more gameplay deep dives like that for both Fable and Avowed. Perfect Dark i will take a trailer since its just an action adventure story driven game, but i need to see gameplay systems in action for Fable, Avowed and other RPGs.

It's an Obsidian RPG so it doesn't need to be an industry leading graphical showcase. Just need it to look good. What's most important is how it plays and what the systems are. That's what will ultimately make or break it. We shall see.
