It's gonna be a bummer If this turns out to be an exclusive game for Sony/MS. But I'm not gonna lie it's going to suck even more if it's a Xbox exclusive, assuming the rumours are true that this is basically a cloud game you play on mobile. None of us wants that lol.

I can see us having a Diablo Immortal reveal moment on our hands If this is going to be a game on mobile. At least until they can prove us that the game has potential and it's doing something unique.

Leaks that happen few days before announcement are especially assholish. What is even the point? I mean, the point is always internet clout, but here your motivation is totally naked, and your actions don't even benefit us as gamers (creators never benefit anyway). We were about to find out anyway, thanks fucking much!

Regardless, sounds like "small game" by Kojima is only in the beginning stages. Does he follow Sony example of presenting stuff when it's not so far from release, or is he still presenting things early on with CGI only? Because at this point it would make much more sense to present "AAA game which everyone wants" which would fit very well with horror game by HK...

My guess pulled from my ass is its something that involves your phone over cloud paired with your console. some 4th wall crazy shit. Interested if so.

Kojima got to get the funds for his games from somewhere, specially if it's something AAA with a bunch of famous artists. If not Sony or even MS who is going to be willing to give Kojima that money? Maybe there is another publisher out there but I can't think of an obvious one, maybe Epic?

I talk shit about Kojima because I think the metal gear solid games are mediocre and the stories in those games are garbage. Kojima also seems like a pretentious douche.

HAVING SAID THAT, I'm up for an Xbox exclusive from him because that means it'll come to game pass day one and I'd be able to give it a shot for free. I never tried pt but it sounds like it was cool. And now we'll get a game like the exclusive to xbox? Okay, I'm down.

Funny how stuff from Ubi and EA leaks all the time but when it’s Kojima his little defense force army comes white knighting how disgusting it is that his next bloated, over budget, incoherent game gets leaked.

I think his colleagues have been sitting on this info for awhile, drooling at the thought of leaking it, but were tied up with some obligations. Then they either spilled the beans to Henderson, or he got it some other way (the Snitch?), and he went ahead and posted it! So it's their inner drama of sorts.

Having said that, I don't see how this leak is good for anyone except for this (another one of) gaming journo parasite. They sound so proud of their leaks as if they were the ones providing actual value instead of sucking joy out of other people's artistic achievements. What's the point of leaking this info right before official announcement?

That's definitely a place holder name. Kojima will come up with some weird turn of phrase or something for the actual title, inspired by some French impressionist movie he saw as a teen or something.

Money talks. Now that it's Kojima's studio he doesn't want to take the risks. He blew a shit ton of money at Konami. Now he follows the money. Microsoft's money spends the same as sony's. Sony wasn't willing to fund this game so ms jumped on it

Haven’t followed the whole thing but is there any indication it will be exclusive, be it Playstation or Xbox?

Smartest thing would be to release it on both the new PS+ tiers and Gamepass if its episodic.

If its coming to xbox, I think its because it's multiplatform. I can't see kojiima ever signing to make an xbox exclusive. There's nothing pointing to it at all apart from Jeff grubb. If it's true though, grubb deserves alot of credit for this. He's taken alot shit for it.

When the news began that this was going to be an Xbox game I did wonder why Sony must have passed on it, but given its rumoured to heavily rely on streaming then it wouldn’t make sense for Sony. It makes perfect sense for a GamePass game and we know Xbox are desperate to work with Kojima.

Hope it’s good in the end.

I live on Portugal, we are super serious about journalism and media being independent and unbiased. yes I know that in most countries that is not the case.

Can confirm. Portuguese media compared to say anything from the UK or US is like from a totally different universe. You never see partisan articles or any hint of opinion on news, unless it’s actually an opinion article. Being abroad makes me love Portugal more and more. It’s like the greatest beacon of light in Europe honestly.
