I mentioned RE8 which is also on Xbox and Metroid has also received positive reception.

Forza Horizon 5 is definitely the more complete package and on paper probably deserves the award more. At the same time though I get more enjoyment out of Halo Infinite so I understand going with that.

A bit odd since the single player campaign only got dropped yesterday. I thought Forza would have taken this with ease.

the MP was really great. I voted Forza so it's telling that even with the Xbox fans splitting a lot of votes between Forza and Halo, it still won. There were no splits with Switch and PS5 owners.

For what its worth, I've rarely agreed with the actual winner. Last year I would have put several titles over TLOU 2

I just don't understand it, when tlou2 was getting praised to high heavens and doing really well for Sony, I would never dream off going into threads and downplaying and bashing a game, because that is just silly.
I am happy that others have a game that interests them, that they love.

I just don't understand why people get so angry or heated over video games, it's meant to be a hobby we enjoy and have fun with.
