bethesda has a lot to prove though, as a studio they’ve really gone nowhere for like 15+ years
i wish them the best, but studios don’t usually sell out with such strong IP unless they feel like they’re in trouble

Microsoft windows is a Microsoft platform..they are done with "just on console" thing following Sony in a war that would seem then always as losers . Now is the opposite with them beating hard Sony with the user reach and user base

I have absolutely no idea what you’re saying. What I’m saying is, I believe something can’t be exclusive to 2 things. So, console exclusive and also available on pc. You can’t say microsoft exclusive because people would expect to be able to play it on a tablet or something

Yeah, imagine Sony not caring about the next big meal ticket from the developers of elder scrolls and fallout.
They could port Skyrim or doom to mobile and still make a million sales so I don’t think they need to prove much tbh. Kinda like Pokémon, they can sell just on the brand name alone.

There was no way this wasn't always going to be the case. No one, especially not MS, spends $7.5 billion to maintain the status quo. They needed to make an impactful acquisition to drastically improve their exclusive library to get as many people on gamepass as possible and sell more consoles. Grabbing Bethesda achieves all of that. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, DOOM, and Starfield are absolutely monster franchises to add to Gears, Halo, Forza, Fable, Minecraft, etc.. Sony has great exclusives, but the playing field has been leveled significantly. The fact that you can spend $15 a month and play all of it is going to sell a lot of consoles IMO.

Over what? How is something exclusive when it’s available on 2 platforms at the same time. You can play it on anything that runs windows? No. It’s xbox console exclusive and also available on pc.
But, that’s why I said the title was wrong. It’s not exclusive on xbox and pc. Like deathloop. It will be on PS5 and PC. So it’s a console exclusive PS and also on pc.
