Happy for everyone getting their consoles today!

Last time I was able to check, my order was still processing (can't access ShopTo's site again). Kinda wish they didn't send out the email yesterday saying it'd be shipped out that day lol, got my hopes up

Welp! No sailings last night so no PS5 for me today. It's been out for delivery for 24 hours as well, but I think that's because Hermes hand over to another carrier for the boat journey. The boat is back at 6pm and Hermes are shocking here so no chance they are going to go the extra mile and deliver this evening.

Amazon are usually good for me so I'm not giving up hope but I was hoping to be playing some Demon's Souls after work at 5. Not sure if that's likely at all now though, expecting a late delivery today at best.

Yeah, I've resigned myself until tomorrow now. Worse because I'm sat here setting up my brothers as well :messenger_downcast_sweat:

How do they contact you when its your turn if you close the page??

A few weeks back, there was some site that popped up with PS5s - looked a little suspect...

I know a few of you on here ordered from there and was wondering if they came through?

Any of you with XM3’s or XM4’s, you’ll be happy to know it seems to work fine with the controller as a mic and should take all audio for game and chat through the headphones.

I’ll report back on chat quality later on today :messenger_beaming:

Amazing! I have XM3s (soon to be XM4s, thanks curry's careplan!), is this plugged into the controller? Or BT?

It will be plugged in, you really don't want to use XM3s for wireless gaming, the lag will be horrendous. Not designed for them.

Curry's insurance on headphones is bananas, I bought a set of £30 earbuds once with some insurance and got about 8 replacement pairs over 5 years for nothing. I think the guy mis sold me something.

I wasn't home when it arrived, someone was home but the delivery guy told them it was for another flat and took it to the next door neighbour and left it at the door. Luckily I was getting home 20 mins later and saw the box, had a look, and it had my name and address...

The staff in my local store directly told me to commit fraud when the new model comes out, since they dont take a hit from the lost money and they get to sell you another careplan with the new product, which they gave me for £8 instead of £30 last time lmao, its a complete farce.

I do connect the XM3s directly to my ZF9 and I didnt notice a massive amount of lag when gaming, but maybe thats different since the PS4 is plugged through the soundbar, actually I do notice lag sometimes on shitty SBC BT connection to my mobile phone when watching youtube vids, maybe because the soundbar uses LDAC BT it has less lag?

How you stop your saves auto uploading to cloud? Says something about rest mode but I don’t have rest mode enabled but it’s still uploaded the save for Astro Boy.

Regardless of what I was saying about BT do you mean plugged directly to the console or the controller? Surely the controller would give lag since its BT? I've never tried anything except connection straight to the soundbar.

I'm assuming he meant just plug them into the controller via the audio jack but don't actually switch the headset on - may still be better than wireless mode on the headphones, I couldn't say.

Nabbed one from Amazon. I’ve been happily playing Sackboy and COD on PS4 Pro all week so wouldn’t have bothered if it weren’t for the noise the Pro makes. It’s been a faithful servant but its noisy ass has got to go.
