Unexpected and exciting! I'm hoping each Night City Wire stream continues to make me more and more excited. I know people had their reservations and concerns from the playtest, but I'm sure all of those will be taken care of. At least I really hope so, lol.

I vaguely remember them long ago mentioning other types of damage, like thermal and chemical damage. I wonder if chemical/thermal/electric/sonic weapons are in.
It's d be interesting.

Anyway, excited for Monday!

I'm really hoping for a solid combat gameplay presentation. I'm also noticing the chinese version looking somewhat better, newer build?

The single worst thing about this game so far is the insanely low NPC count like wtf mate there's this city and we got 12 people max on screen lmao

While true to an extent it's good to remember most of the best games had pants points. Deus ex, the gunplay was pretty bad but my god, what a game!

This. Though it won't stop me from loving the game if the rest is good. I loved Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided even though the gunplay wasn't the best in those games either.

I had a dream today, that they decided to delay the game one more time... well, more of a nightmare, I guess.

edit: in my dream, they simply didn't say that it's coming out in November, people started digging and yeah, got delayed (2021, no specific date), why the fuck do I even feel the need of sharing this?

Don't worry. I'm 100% they will delay it to March 2021. They were over ambitious with it and based on all the gameplay videos, it looks a bit rough around the edges.

Well, not saying it's the end of the world if that happens, that would actually work for me better, as I decided to build a new PC for Cyberpunk 2077 and AMD is taking their time with Zen 3 processors and I would hate it for the game to come out and I would be without a new hardware to play it on... still, I would prefer AMD to hurry up, but eh, whatever happens, I think, in the end, it's gonna be worth it anyway.

Well yes definitely but I'll still cry if they delay it again even with my expectations of them already doing it but ye, it's going to be an amazing experience.

Weapon variety looks great. The weapon modding is deeper than I thought it would be.

As for starting as Nomad, Corpo, or Street, I'll probably go Street first time through.

That was obviously carefully selected footage but if this is how the gunplay and melee will look it's gonna be fire. Clearly a new build, love the amped gore and model damage fx, melee starting to look real good... I'm kinda worried about physics and non-scripted collision but for a game of this scope and size... wow.
The only next-gen console launch title I need, only if the dates aligned...
