Jon Jones makes the first defense of his second reign as light heavyweight champion on Saturday night when he takes on Anthony Smith in the main event of UFC 235 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card is on PPV, beginning at 10 p.m. ET, with prelims on ESPN and ESPN Deportes at 8 p.m. and early prelims on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 6:15.

The co-main event is also a title bout, as Tyron Woodley defends his welterweight crowd against Kamaru Usman. Woodley is unbeaten in his last seven fights, while Usman has won 13 in a row.

Good to get such a stacked event, I'm looking forward to the two mains from prelims more tbh. JW as discussed in Prague thread and Zabit v Stephens will hopefully be another fight of the night.

The ppv is is nuts as well. Two title fights and the Askren assassination attempt. Cody is there as well.

Looking forward to this. Cracking lineup. Interested in seeing how Askren goes.

Man this card is stacked.

I almost want to pick Smith to win just because it screams “classic upset” scenario that we see in sports sometimes

Really interested to see Cody back in the cage

Best card of the year?

So far for ufc I'd say yes, main card is all good fights and the two prelim main fights are nuts as well.

ONE Championship ushers in a new era of martial arts in Japan with its inaugural show in Tokyo on 31 March.

With an astounding four World Championship bouts, ONE: A NEW ERA is without a doubt the biggest event in ONE Championship history. At the top of the card, ONE Lightweight World Champion Eduard Folayang will defend his belt in a rematch with Japanese martial arts icon Shinya Aoki.

In one of three co-main events, ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion Angela Lee moves up in weight in a quest to become the first ever female two-division mixed martial arts World Champion. Standing in her way is Chinese powerhouse Xiong Jing Nan, ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion.

In addition, two-division ONE World Champion Aung La N Sang will defend his middleweight strap against Japanese contender Ken Hasegawa in an epic rematch of their 2018 Bout of the Year, this time on the challenger’s home turf.

Lastly, ONE Bantamweight World Champion Kevin Belingon faces Bibiano Fernandes for the third time to decide once and for all who the best bantamweight on the planet really is.

ONE: A NEW ERA will also see the highly-anticipated debuts of mixed martial arts megastars Eddie Alvarez and Demetrious Johnson, who are competing in ONE’s Lightweight and Flyweight Grand Prix tournaments, respectively.

Capping off the stacked main card is a showdown between two kickboxing legends in Andy Souwer and Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex.

31 March promises to be the best showcase of world-class martial arts action Tokyo has ever seen in the modern era. Be a part of history and get your tickets now!

Thats a massive event as well, 4 championship fights and Eddie Alvarez & Demetrius Johnson.

Jon Jones vs Anthony Smith

Tyquil Woodley vs Marty Usman

Robbie Lawler vs Ben Askren

Tecia Torres vs Weili Zhang

Misha Cirkunov vs Johnny Walker

Cody Stamann vs Alejandro Pérez

Diego Sanchez vs Mickey Gall

I think the Cody, and Jeremy fights are toss-ups. This is a very nice card.

I have the same picks except I’m taking Gall over Diego

I’m taking Jeremy over Zabit

I’m taking Garbrandt

I'm looking forward to the Woodley, garbrandt, askren, and zabit fight...but the main event is a joke imo

Double post but I think Jones will smoke Smith. I think it will be a mismatch.

Willing to look like a fool if the opposite happens.

swap either stephens vs zabit or misha vs walker to the main card in place of torres vs zhang and this card is great

Smith will get destroyed, he has a punchers chance but thats about it. problem is there are no real contenders @ 205. it's bones and then everyone else miles below him

I think they leave those fights on prelims to draw viewership to ESPN

not the biggest woodley fan but i hope he smashes usman. usman is so fucking wack. hes boring as shit and he has a bad personality the worst combination

Woodley is such a beast, I think he would have to have a very off day or just have the tactics completely wrong to lose his belt anytime in the next few years. I remember him having cardio issues during his rise but he doesn’t seem to suffer those issues anymore. And he was so raw back then, he really has improved hugely.

Usman is going to get wrecked. I haven’t been impressed with his fighting at all

Ugh

According to Bob Knucks, he’s probably not coming back until August at the earliest. I miss that Australian monster. He broke down the events leading up to his emergency hernia surgery on day of UFC 234

Also, in other Random MMA News, Kron Gracie came out as a Flat Earther on Ariel’s show today

The most stacked card in recent memory. Gosh so many questions are gonna be answered. Is Walker gonna blow through his opponent for the 3rd time and generate giant hype for his fur sher Jones matchup? Askren finally arrives and will Woodley (please) beat Usman. This card man. THISSSSS CARRDDDDDDDDDD

Been watching a bunch of the media stuff on YouTube. Goddamn Usman is such a bag of wind. Guy must be lacking confidence to talk himself up so much

Just let him bang bro.

Askren is a world class windup merchant. Lolz.

Johnny Walker with the bow tie and suspenders.

Man some of those faces are something only a mother could love.

I don't like jonesy, but he will win regardless coz he's just too good. Unless smith can use that titanic nose as a shield.

I think Jones probably wins, but Smith will be better competition than people are giving him credit for. I like his savagery, it’s what anyone will need to beat Jones. You aren’t going to win a tactical fight against him he’s too good.

Dana has to feed Colby to Woodley now. It's like when heels used to piss off Teddy Long and he made them fight Undertaker so they would get destroyed.

Wow this is gold.

I remember when Dana had his fight week vlog and a casino banned him for winning too much in blackjack one episode

Dana’s mistress noped the fuck out of there

Colby just gained a rank in my book. This is great

Lots of drama and lols. Lols from Colby Hart. Drama I thought we might get from Bones drug results, but it's going on (I knocked on wood).
