The action looks so uninspiring and the ending is so bad. I am not sure if that character is supposed to be funny.

Yeah, Marvel doesn't expect this to be another Guardians, but their only problem could be the industry and public's expectations for Marvel movies in general, especial since this is their last movie before DC fully launches their own Cinematic Universe in 2016. If it doesn't even do Cap 1 and Thor 1 level of performance, it could be a tough publicity ride for them until Civil War comes out. Or until the first trailer for Civil War comes out, and then that movie will have to meet or surpass expectations in order for Marvel to stay ahead of the curve against DC.
Good news is that Phase 3 looks like it will really revitalize the MCU, with Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Cap. Marvel, Spider-Man and so on, and even Ant-Man. I know it's Phase 2 technically, but it does feel like the start of a new phase in many parts, and it is indeed a perfect close to Phase 2.
But whatever, I loved Ant-Man.
Yea, I hear you. But marvel is a house hold name, and everyone that's seen it is saying they loved it as much as first Iron man which is saying something.
I think the market especially family's are going to love this movie. Just like kids loved rocket, they are going to fall in love with ant's again.
I want it to be a surprise GotG hit..
But I know it's not meant to be
I wouldn't worry about the film's box office performance. It's floor is basically the Thor movies.
There's at least oneJust got back. Really enjoyed it, start to finish. Good laughs, good action, no filler.

Still plan on seeing it myself though. Looks fun.
Are there end credit scenes?
Overall it's exactly what I expected. Good start to phase 3.
Just got back from this and loved it. Its a good time, doesn't outstay its welcome, tells its story well. Cast are pitch perfect.
The trailers really didn't do it justice.
Its nice that it doesn't have to be the end of the world for every MCU movie.
Do I like it more than AoU? Dunno, yet. I'll have to wait to swatch them both again on Bluray.

But Age of Ultron was mediocre and a disappointment (from the action, camerawork, direction, to the bloat of it all). This doesn't sound encouraging lol.

What do those percents mean?
% of advanced ticket sales. People ordering tickets for the weekend online in advance. 15% of ticket preorders for the weekend are Ant-Man.
Is that theThe two post credit scenes were surprises, especially the second one.
Is that the? Just a yes or no will suffice. And if yes, will I still be surprised?Civil War scene

the ending of that clip is wack but i dunno man that's a cool action scene. easy top 3 of all time for marvel studios imo. very clever stuff going on with his use of size, and i like how he slid over the tiny model car.

Just got back from it. The first half drags a bit but the second half was really, really fun. So glad I only watched the first trailer.
I might be imagining it but I can see some Edgar Wright-ey bit in this movie.
.
I found the post credit scenes underwhelming, I didn't even understand what the second one was implying
Recruiting bucky ? What do they need ant man for ?
I think this isan actual scene from Civil War, not something prior to that movie. There's been a falling out with Stark (obv. after Ultron), and Cap doesn't trust him anymore. The scene just confirms that Ant-man will side with Cap/Falcon
Sweet, thats quiete a good rating.Looks like Ant-Man passed the requirements for a Certified Fresh status (78%, 82 reviews).
