This is going to be Marvel's worst performance at the box office since the original Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger films. I doubt it'll even break 60 million OW.
Add to the crow thread.

He's maybe the only minor complaint: not that memorable unfortunately. I mean he's not bad, but he's definitely one of the weaker links here.
Falcon was talking about the different type of super heroes: "we got a guy with a hammer, a man in an iron suit and now a guy that can stick to walls"
Have you not seen the NHL threads on going jokes about how I am always on set?
Tangential but I suppose it's barely close enough. Still, you sure have a lot of hubris
We're almost back to 80%!Woot! Up to 79% now! One of the few movies that go up as general release date approaches and well deserving. It IS better than Age of Ultron.
Pretty cool "Action" scene with lots of eye candy and effects. Somewhat spoilerly in as far as it looks like it's in the second half of the movie:

The film is projected to make up to $65 million.
I see it easily making at least $60 million.

They all made it out alive, like Coulson.Tony making jokes when thousands of innocent civilians are dead or dying.
Am I doing this right?

What TV show is this?
It's a sequence that happens at the tail-end of The Avengers.
Basically, Fury's superiors attempt to end the invasion by launching a nuclear missile at Manhattan, despite Agent Hill & Fury's orders. Tony intercepts the missile and takes it through the wormhole toward the Chitauri fleet. The missile detonates & destroys the mothership, but Stark's suit runs out of power & causes him to free fall through the wormhole just as Black Widow closes it. The Hulk saves him from crashing to the ground, and after removing his suit's mask, Tony suggests having dinner at a shawarma restaurant he saw earlier in the battle.

Please tell me Lilly survives.
*sees box office discussion* There's no way Ant-Man doesn't beat Minions for this weekend domestically. Minions should drop around 50%, so a low 60M (the minimum I think for Ant-Man) would still beat Minions.
Marvel dominance shall continue.
If I remember correctly, it is actually the reporterwho says that "they now have a bit of everything everywhere" including a guy "that swings and clings to walls." Falcon then says "na, I'm looking for a guy that shrinks."
I'm watching the movie in 3.5 hours. Pretty damn hyped. In 3D too, I hope the 3d is good. I don't usually watch in 3d, had to convince my friend to go 3d for this one. They'll blame me if the 3d turns out bad .
I actually have kind of enjoyed what I've seen in the trailers, so I'm somewhat interested in watching it, and yet I've watched so much crap of this sort of this year and liked pretty much none of it, so I dunno if I should spend my hard-earned moolah (and time) again.
This. While I see it doing around $65 million on its opening weekend, positive word-of-mouth will likely carry it through the rest of the summer with minimal drops.I loved Ant-Man, but I do think that it will do worse than most Marvel movies at the box office, hope I'm wrong, but will pick up with word-of-mouth over the rest of the summer. There are no more big blockbusters left this year until winter, so it has room to grow through the rest of July and August.
Only Fantastic 4 left, but we all know how that's going and it doesn't come out until first weekend of August.
The action looks so uninspiring and the ending is so bad. I am not sure if that character is supposed to be funny.

He's just trying to cure the world of its terrible taste in movies, one post at a time. And yet you still are in the avengers thread, this thread, the furious 7 thread etc, maybe you should stay away from big budget films dude. your shtick of drive-bying is getting old.

"The film became a critical and commercial success, grossing over $370 million worldwide."

It was a parody of the criticisms saying that The Avengers resembled a tv production.

Some might even call him a hero.
Not me though. I love this shit.
Seriously if you don;t like these type of movies stay out of the threads? I like many other;s in here love these movies mainly because I grew up reading the source material. We love that small character's like ant-men are getting their own spotlight which has been way over due.
These movies speak to our inner kid, sorry you don't like the medium.

Oh lets all be positive and do some circle jerking then.No criticism allowed.
This movie looks fking awesome!!! Every trailer I have seen has sent my hype to new levels. The action and the comedy from what I am seeing is out of this world. I absolutely love it. Cannot freaking wait OMG be still my inner kid!

But anyway, yea ant-man will be fine. It's smaller film, being marketed as such, and being more family friendly might help it. Marvel's expectations for the film are not the same as Age of Ultron or Guardians.
