What's the situation like elsewhere? Is getting ps5s easier

Argos and Amazon had digital and disc in for over 5 hours last week. It’s caught up.

I got 2 digital 2 months ago and at the time it felt like production had ramped up. Game and Amazon were getting 20k drops every week or so.

You can transfert over wifi or ethernet and when setting up your ps5 it will ask you if you want to.
But I advice you to use ethernet I tried over wifi and it took forever... But my wifi was used by a lot of devices when I tried to transfer, you might be more lucky than me.

Your welcome just a quick advice don't try to transfer whole games over wifi this can take forever(probably the ps4 hdd and the wifi were the limiting factor).If you have a fiber connection just redownload them it will be much faster even the psn download are faster, I downloaded demon's souls in like 5 minutes.

Make sure you sync your PS trophies to PSN (if you care about them) on your PS4 before you move them over to your PS5, just as an extra precaution.

It sucks for people that genuinely want a console now to play though, I know my younger brother refuses to play battlefront 2 with his mates now as they load in and take all the classes he wants before he has even loaded in lmao.
I have heard a lot of positively surrounding the series s, I think the biggest thing that puts people off though is the storage, it's not cheap to upgrade

Right. Depending on how many games you play, storage could become an issue. 3-5 bigger games and that's it. Luckily i got fast internet and never play more than 2-3 games.

1 console is 1 sale, 1 blade can support like what? 20 sessions or something? It's just economy of scale. Somewhere they have someone crunching numbers saying ultimately there's a bigger ROI by upgarding blades than shipping x amount of consoles. Sucks for consumers but it's not just random.

Can't even sell my PS5 for 200€ profit anymore here in Germany.

I think it's freeing up considerably. Demand is dropping on tech due to summer and covid restrictions easing. Hopefully sony can get some stock piled up as we enter Q4. ...doubt it though. Argos are due some more soon too, I heard.

In Croatia PS5 is available for 4 hours straight already although price is a bit inflated.


Its 630€ for PS5 disc edition + Ratchet & Clank, Miles Morales and Destruction All Stars.

So i would say in next 3-6 months its gonna be much easier to buy PS5 in department stores

I think when you start seeing standalone PS5's ( no bundle) supply would have caught up.

The bundles they are selling today are overpriced and many people may not be willing to buy bundles with games they don't want just to get a PS5

It's much much easier to buy ps5 consoles than xbox series x I bought 4 ps5's and distributed to my work friends for cost.

I only had one opportunity to buy a series x thus far.

I assume its purely to do with stock levels as most of my friends have decided to try playstation consoles first then buy xbox series in a year or two.

Yeah I have both, I want them to get to general availability so when they release MP games etc there's enough players. Even comparing Pro Clubs across last gen current gen is tragic. And when playing Div2 the general population on Xbox is way less than PS for public matchmaking full squads etc. Haven't tried Destiny 2 but would be curious if it was the same there.

Very easy, use you profile from your PS4 and make it the prime user on your PS5 and all your Trophys and gamefriends and other stuff from your PS4 account is now on your PS5, easy peasy....
