As good as Returnal and Ratchet are, Horizon has to drop this year. Flight Simulator, Psychonauts 2, Forza Horizon 5 and Halo is a quality and varied line up.

As much as I'm really looking forward to flight simulator I really don't think it's something that Sony should be concerned about unless they are releasing something similar. With Psychonauts being a summer release rather than during the busy season I would imagine that is more than covered with the exclusive indie games they have coming.

I wrote this, I think they could do something near the end of July beginning of Aug. They would need something else besides Stray and Kena. I think they are hoping to date Horizon but, if that gets delayed they have nothing. Then probably a PSVR2 SoP before the end of the year with price and date.

For sure. Within the next 4 weeks. We already know a bunch of stuff that will be featured:

• GTA 5: E&E
• Final Fantasy XVI
• Forspoken
• Death Stranding: Director's Cut
• Call of Duty 2021

Then there is other old and new stuff that could be added:

• TLOU Remake
• TLOU 2 Factions
• Horizon Story Trailer (+ release date?)
• Spider-Man 2 teaser? (a bit too soon for that, but would fit the two-year timeline if they are aiming for H1 2023)
• London Studios new IP?
• PSVR 2 games? Or PSVR 2 reveal or teaser?
• Firewalk IP reveal?

This does not include any surprises that we don't know about yet. I think they can have a very meaty show.

20 second trailer with Bloodborne Complete edition for PC/PS5 would be killer. Nothing more required from them. They can even use a Power Point slide written in Comic Sans and that alone would be the second best E3 show after Microsoft's. Just a few bullet points will do:

PC/PS5
4K - 60 FPS
Chromatic Aberration toggle
Fixed framepacing
Improved textures, load times and chalice dungeons

E3 was great because no matter what we knew we would be getting an update on games. now we have no certainty, no real schedule. We are basically at the mercy of whenever Sony decides to show us what games they have in development. Kind of frustrating.

I mean I don't know how much they outright lie (more than others anyway, everyone lies a bit it seems), but they certainly play the meta-game of public opinion, making sure to try and always be on the right side of things.
