The hype for this game feel so inorganic to me. I mean, I've done some searching but can't find a single second of gameplay. In fact, the only thing I've been able to find is a screen shot from what looks like an early alpha build. So I'm really confused as to why there is a discussion is about it.
If it is an exclusive, that's great for XBOX but not surprising to me since they own the studio. Someone help a fellow gamer out and fill in the missing gaps here, please.
Does it really need to be explained?
I’m hyped for Elden Ring. I love Miyazaki’s games and he’s never let me down before. I didn’t need to see the leaked footage to get hyped.
I’m hyped to see what Guerrilla, Sucker Punch, Insomniac and Santa Monica put out next, because they have proven pedigree, not because of some 1 minute Horizon trailer. Same for GTA 6, TES 6, The Witcher 4.
I get hyped when one of my favourite movies gets a sequel green kit, or when one of my favourite authors announces they are working on something, or when a band I like announces a new album.
I don’t have to forensically know everything about a product to be hyped for it.
God Howard won’t disappoint with Starfield.
I suspect you already knew all of this, because you too are a human being, but you probably just wanted to use the word inorganic in relation to this game. The funny thing is that most ‘hype’ is usually manufactured by the companies pushing bull shots, trailers, ‘friendly previews’ and by devs making all sorts of statements, making that the most inorganic hype of all. Whereas Starfield hype is purely just from people who love TES and Fallout and are excited to see what Bathesda can do in a new setting.
