Don't fight Phil. Just bring your games to PlayStation if you have games
Don't fight Phil. Just bring your games to PlayStation if you have games
Yet.They don't own steam.
Who pays twice? He's not wrong about charging twice.
But I have no doubt that some will find a way to argue that having to pay twice for the same game is actually good
Wow. Are you really a Playstation owner for you to say this?I hear this sentiment, along with "I'm not really enjoying gaming anymore" and "I'm not really playing games anymore" a lot in real life among people I know.
Every time it is an Xbox only owner. Every. Single. Time.
Oh? Is that the reason? They don't own Steam....So why should Sony give the game away free on PC then? They don't own steam. And the fact they even give you their games on pc for free, if you buy it from Xbox is crazy to begin with.
If they owned steam, they would have done it to encourage their console. Like buy on xbox and get steam one free.
Tell Sony to make their store first, or have them port their games to pc. So we far have, we only have few.So just like Sony's policy with Steam. Got it.
Nobody says they should. It's just that Microsoft does and Sony doesn't.Oh? Is that the reason? They don't own Steam....So why should Sony give the game away free on PC then?
????Oh? Is that the reason? They don't own Steam....So why should Sony give the game away free on PC then?
They got you with their nonsense logic, fam. This has nothing to do with Steam.????
I am the loop out of here. Just sleepy little bit. Did he said Sony should put their games free on steam.
All this crap. And I was thinking of Sony putting their games on pc, like day 1, and not about giving their games for free. Fk me if that is right
Let me do this for phill.
Hey Phill Spencer, you are an idiot for that.
Dammit. Was i making fool of myself.
I would riot if they do it.Yet.
They don't own steam. And the fact they even give you their games on pc for free, if you buy it from Xbox is crazy to begin with.

You've shifted the goalposts......You stated MS gave you MLB and Outriders free(even though you pay a recurring sub) and what Sony have done for their users.Giving away games vs making games at 70$ isn't the same.
I am grateful they made some games free. And they deserve the credit for it.
But that won't change the pricing issues. It might not be an issue, if you are from America. But beyond America, they pay too much shit, because of the price increase. What you consider 10$ increase, is too much on other areas. Look at how much they charge in Australia or canada.
Thank goodness. They got you with their nonsense logic, fam. This has nothing to do with Steam.
Maybe papa Phil got tired of PC gamers acting all indifferent in these aquisition wars and he's like "let me open my war chest..."I would riot if they do it.
I dont need no xbox or Sony to own it. Keep their filthy on their consoles. We pc peasant dont want their online charging shit on our pc platform.
This from us pc players.
So does that apply to all games or just MS ones????It's an irrelevant question. Buy a game on Xbox, play it on PC day one for free. That's what Phil promises. That's what gamers get.
What i said isn't goal posting. You've shifted the goalposts......You stated MS gave you MLB and Outriders free(even though you pay a recurring sub) and what Sony have done for their users.
Most electronics are more in Canada and Australia. Why have phone prices skyrocketed? 3-4 years ago flagships were £700. Now they are £1000+. Most things are going up in price, it is what it is. I don't like the fact Sony put their prices up. I'll just wait if I don't want to pay top dollar.
Sony getting deathloop and ghost wire Tokyo as exclusives (timed) is far worse than MS getting Bethesda. And this is because with Bethesda acquisition lots more gamers will be getting all of the games day one (PC+Xbox+xCloud?) while timed exclusivity for PS, limits how many people will play.I don't know if you are really so naive or what. Phil Spencer is the personification of the hypocrysy. If he was on the lead on sony would do even worst things of Jim Ryan, just look to the Bethesda aquisition. If he was to the other side in the same case, he would scream to to the abuse of the gamers rights, knowing him. Pretty convenient to be the nice guy just when the things are against his interest, isn't it?
All MS games and some non-MS ones.So does that apply to all games or just MS ones????
We believe in Generation. Sony took a jap on that. But we kinda forget about it, Sony its Sony.ArrogantSonyMicrosoft
Ahahah it’s funny how even at the height levels of the Xbox brand there’s someone doing dem console wars.
We do not see Nintendo or Sony doing this type of stuff!
Bruh!!! What are you on?Sony getting deathloop and ghost wire Tokyo as exclusives (timed) is far worse than MS getting Bethesda. And this is because with Bethesda acquisition lots more gamers will be getting all of the games day one (PC+Xbox+xCloud?) while timed exclusivity for PS, limits how many people will play.
PS Now has something similar, but it only works on streamed games. In that loose context: I bought Subnautica Below Zero for my son on the XSX, and I ended up enjoying the game myself so I went looking to buy the PC version as I'm primarily a PC gamer. But then by chance I discovered that it's a Play Anywhere title, so I just downloaded it for free and seamlessly continued my Xbox save on my PC. I thought that was a cool customer experience. I have no idea, so I'm kinda curious, is that something you can also experience on the Playstation these days (I mean something similar to "play anywhere")?
New games are shit. They focus too much on graphic part.
Old games had much challenges. I used to play splinter cell. And I loved the ability to look for health stations, and have my health not increase by itself. Every decision I make, was crucial. The ammo, where I save.
Now days, you are full health easily. You wait few seconds, and your health is full. You dont need to rely strategy or anything. Ammo isn't scarce, or you look for it. They drop it is easily. You have mini map, telling you were to go.
Its all action hero flick. Nothing as entertaining as old time. Man, I miss those days.
You want context? Because it’s easy to take things out of context! We believe in Generation. Sony took a jap on that. But we kinda forget about it, Sony its Sony.
Both do the same shit. Like that time Sony did it, when xbox had drm online. But they implemented the trophy check, and no one batted an eye.
I am just pissed at ff7r exclusivity, and ff16 which is like 2 years exclusive. And we haven't even seen street fighter 15 on xbox since it launched. Playstation don't even own those ip.Bruh!!! What are you on?
MS made rise of the tomb raider timed exclusive at the last minute and kept lying saying it was forever exclusive to Xbox … that’s the sort of crap YOU should be pissed at!
You need to chill on that MS unicorn !
That's...beautiful!Business owning other business, entitles them to own their business. Its business 101.
You are trolling hard there. And again it's always MS vs sony with some of you. Never said temporal exclusive is a better thing but in proportion it's definitely better than buy any studios on the earth and destroy his indipendency.Sony getting deathloop and ghost wire Tokyo as exclusives (timed) is far worse than MS getting Bethesda. And this is because with Bethesda acquisition lots more gamers will be getting all of the games day one (PC+Xbox+xCloud?) while timed exclusivity for PS, limits how many people will play.
Thank you, but I am not. Ain't spending 700$ for shit games, that i won't have interest in.
Get out of your GP bubble.
The root of the problem is who started all this trend because it didn’t had exclusives. We also end up with online behind a paywall in all consoles…I am just pissed at ff7r exclusivity, and ff16 which is like 2 years exclusive. And we haven't even seen street fighter 15 on xbox since it launched. Playstation don't even own those ip.
Microsoft owns them. Nothing can change that. Its the same as if Sony or Nintendo were to own them. You can cry about taking the ip, but that is business. Business owning other business, entitles them to own their business. Its business 101.
Timed exclusivity on other hand is garbage. Microsoft or Sony. They don't own the ip. The only time its ok, is if they publish it. Otherwise, its garbage. We getting in to the 2 year exclusive timed now days.
PS Now has something similar, but it only works on streamed games.
Thank you, but I am not. Ain't spending 700$ for shit games, that i won't have interest in.
I bought resident evil 2 remake, monster hunter, red dead 2. Haven't played them since I got them. It was waste of my money honestly. If weren't for the hype, I wouldn't have bought them.
With GP, I dont care about them. Test the game. If I don't like it, delete them. I won't have any regret of buying them.
My money is more important to me, than to support something that I don't like. And hype is just dangerous thing that makes you buy impulsive. I still have my Playstation exclusive, ps+ games and psnow which I didn't touch that much, aside of spiderman and God of war. Money goes draining.
Im curious who's banned alt he is. Jumped right into console warring without missing a beat.

Yeah, pretty obvious.Im curious who's banned alt he is. Jumped right into console warring without missing a beat.
You are right, he should have Xbox games available on whatever system you purchase them for, and cross buy... either PC, Xbox One, or XBX... oh wait he already does. Your focus on steam is just trying to compare apples and oranges. You want the game on PC, you can get it on PC and it is cross buy in nearly every case. Has been for years. Nothing is stopping Sony from allowing game downloads via their PC PSN app.The clown should pressure Sony by giving their games for free on Steam then
Put up or shut up
Yep. People really do have a very selective memory. And all the threads where team blue here laughed at team green because of cross-gen are locked or deletedThe infamous "We believe in generations" interview was exactly the same kind of jab into the competition. The question is whether Spencer will make the same 180 degree narrative spin from what he just said a month later.
Yep. People really do have a very selective memory. And all the threads where team blue here laughed at team green because of cross-gen are locked or deleted
Or they wanted a game that didn't have massive frame rate issues? But Phil, most people buying PS first party titles on PC are buying it because they couldn't/didn't have access to them on console.
WutOr they wanted a game that didn't have massive frame rate issues?
What? I don't think we're understanding each other (I'm certainly not).Oh really? Then why those games aren't free, at all, but fully priced instead? And no, they're not gonna convince anyone from PC crowd to get a PS5, for multiple reasons that have already been posted to death in the recent past, and that's exactly why they slowly but surely start to port the games on PC, to get that extra income from the audience they cannot reach, that's why Ryan an Hulst are bringing the exclusives to PC, a bunch of fanboys on the internet might be mad about it, but those two see how much profit it brings in return, at that's what ultimately matters. Sony is once again LTTP, just like after an entire PS3 generation they realized you can charge people for playing online, now they all of a sudden realized there is a huge PC userbase that can feed their wallets. Which is actually a smart move to let the others test the waters and see what works and what fails hard.
They both have their moments, but one of the ones that really stuck out to me was, exclusives are evil and anti-consumer and Sony should be ashamed of doing that. Yet, Microsoft purchased Bethesda for their exclusives to be on XBOX and Gamepass. We believe in Generation. Sony took a jap on that. But we kinda forget about it, Sony its Sony.
