Great job, Ratsky!

I don't see much in the new shows that excites me, quite frankly. Maybe Z Nation and Ascension, but SyFy has been a mess lately so I'm not ready to commit.

Lots of returning shows:
Blacklist
Sleepy Hollow - though I have to finish watching S1 still
New Girl - gonna give it a couple episodes to see if it can rebound from last season's disaster
Mindy Project
The Newsroom
Homeland
Downton Abbey
Parenthood
The Walking Dead

Although mostly I'll be watching NFL football!

Happens every new season but then you get to binge watch which is great.

Elementary (might drop if quality didn't improve over last season)
Grimm (might drop too if quality didn't improve over last season)

Also looking forward for The Fall S2 and final season of White Collar.

New shows:

The Flash
AHS Freak Show (never liked the previous seasons, but the theme sounds fun this time)
Forever (while it's interesting, the procedural part might bore me)
Constantine (giving it another chance, the pilot was pretty bad imho)
Z Nation (just because...)

Most of the TV-GAF 'claiming' happens in either the pre-premiere threads or sometimes the 'what shows will you be watching' threads (i.e. this one). The OT OT doesn't get used as much for this. In general, just make sure that people are working together nicely and things tend to fall into place. If you have questions, you can either bring it up here or send me a PM.

Not too many new shows that are grabbing my attention to be honest (will definitely try Red Band Society, Gotham, Togetherness, and Marry Me). Not to fret though, plenty of returning shows will consume my viewing time.

Wow. Terrible season for new shows. It's been a while since I've head so little to look forward to. It's kinda sad when Syfy has most of the ones that interesting me, particularly since quality isn't generally their strong point.

Marco Polo could be awesome.

Slate seems filled with dull looking contemporary dramas and comedies.

Thanks for the thread. I do look forward to them.

It's a 2015 series, yes. Starz' slate for the first half of next year is really packed though, so unless they decide to program on another night or show two shows back to back, it probably won't be until later in the year.

Just a few differences, The Paradise, Season 2 starting September 28 @ 8 ET, Live from Lincoln Center: The Nance Starring Nathan Lane on October 10 @ 9 ET, Great Performances: Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek LIVE! on October 24 @ 9 ET. The second half of the pilot gave me hope and I really enjoy John Cho and Karen Gillan. I won't have a problem dropping it if it doesn't get better though.

the affair has an interesting picture to go with (Bishop, McNulty, and Lisa? Oh you.), so I'll give it a chance. Immortal Hornblower gets a shot, as does the Doctor doing something sorta different... and that space thingy, because I'm a sucker and I want to see just how bad it will turn out to be (as anything involving space tends to be really bad either way).

Will watch the Blacklist for sheer MOTHERFUCKING TOM *ahum* I mean, Red, shenanigans, but that's where I intend to stop. But can I quit Castiel? It's been ten years, let me gooooo. (I'll probably watch it anyway)

But that's really it. Not even Mini-me Batman? Yes, particular not mini-me Batsy, because it's called after the bleeping city.
