Maybe 2 years from now, which means 10gb will be the minimum requirement....and if that's the case people are wasting their money buying these cards now, unless it's 16gb or 20gb.

6gb and 8gb will be fine for 1080p until late 2022.

I could give you the same snarky response being that you don’t know the future either. That’s my opinion, a generation lasts between 5 to 7 years so saying that 8gb will last you another 2 years from now at 1080p isn’t a stretch by any means. You fuggin geek.

A $700 card won't be the minimum 2 years from now. Of that, I am 100% certain.

Edit: to the idiot that said current gen games are 'dangerously' close to 8gb vram usage--that is factually inaccurate unless you're talking about a handful of games at 4k on the most extreme settings. Jesus Neogaf isn't this dumb is it? Vram allocation and usage aren't the same thing

choose to disable any graphic (d)effects that are annoying me?
use any emulator i want?
not pay for online MP?

And some other pc only stuff I am forgeting....
