I never removed anything lolYou forgot the most important one: spend the most time removing all the useless clutter left by other players that only cares about getting the useless like.
Because Sony is the owner of the Death Stranding IP and the publisher of Death Stranding and Death Stranding Director's Cut (even if they allowed Kojima to port it to PC with another publisher).Aside from the MGS tease, nobody noticed the PlayStation Studios logo at the start of the video? Why is it there?
This game has PlayStation Studios logo because it's a PlayStation Studios game. Square Enix don't have PlayStation Studios logo because they are Square Enix games and not PlayStation Studios games. No this is not the case. Square Enix timed exclusive games doesn’t have PlayStation Studios logo in their trailers (as far as I remember).
Outside MLB, PlayStation Studios logo means full console exclusive. Outside MLB, that isn't a Sony IP, no Sony game has been released for other consoles. Death Stranding Director's Cut won't be released in other consoles.it might be coming to playstation as timed or full exclusive
Sony is the one who owns the IP and the publisher of this game, not Kojipro.I wouldn't expect this update on PC for a while unless KojiPro says otherwise. DS isn't published by Sony on PC, so there's all kinds of weird hoops they have to jump through on this one.
PS Studios logo means PS Studios publishes this game. In the same way they published Death Stranding, Bloodborne or Returnal. It has nothing to do with acquisitons. This trailer tells me 2 things:
1. Stealth reveal of Kojima Productions Sony acquisition (PS studios logo)
2. “I’m done with MGS, but it is in good hands” (fragile, handled with love all over the box)
Very likely fake because the game is long as hell and Kojima always praised Sony.Weren't there rumors that Sony cut the budget drastically?
Kojima said covid really afected them so very likely this time they only did this and the PC port. This 'Kojima is doing a MS game' rumor seems to be fake, like the 'Sony rejected Kojima's next game', 'Kojima is making a game for Stadia', 'Kojima is working on Silent Hill', or 'Starfield being a 2021 game' rumors. So Kojima is working on a DS expansion for ps5 and that all new horror game for Xbox GP.
FUD and lies, all devs praised the creative freedom Sony gives them. And Sony published many dark and scary games in several ways like TLOU2, Bloodborne or Until Dawn. The rumors I heard were that Sony said it was too dark, scary and made them change some things.
The logo means Sony is the publisher of the game, they use it in all the games published by Sony. None of the exclusives not published by Sony use it. And yes, in addition to this Sony also owns the Death Stranding IP.Might be that Sony owns the IP? Not sure really. I think any game made for them as an exclusive has that logo now.

Prepare yourself to be dissapointed, the most similar thing I see possible is to see the vanilla Death Stranding maybe going to Game Pass PC somewhere in the future.Nah Kojima new game on Gamepass is very likely real. Phil's shelf already prepared all of us.
I personally enjoyed grinding the 5 stars of every base, it is a bit quite much tho, i went way past the 100 hours but surprisingly enough, most of the porters i encountered have similar playtimes and traveled distance, quite peculiar.Depending on how much new story content is added I may go through it again.
The key to enjoying this game to max is not do side quests or not go past 3 star rank earned for each side quest giver. This minimizes the grindy annoying bits big time and gives the game great pacing.
I also recommend people go slow with this one in general. It's meant to be a game where you're out in this big empty vista and an amazing song comes on so you stop to soak in the atmosphere.

They aren't a huge team, I think since DS release most of them were busy with the porting and this expansion, plus maybe working on the early preproduction of their next game that would be released several years in the future. And seeing DS was profitable, its PC port too, and now they release this together, I don't see why Sony or Kojipro wouldn't want to work together again. In fact, now Sony would be able to publish the PC port too.
Interestingly, Geoff Keighley also tried to get some information about what might be next from Kojima Productions, and ol’ Hideo was his usual evasive self, but he did drop a few potential hints…
I can't really say specifically. It won't be like the past, it won't be one step at a time. [The pandemic] is a drastic change, just like after 9/11: we have to adapt and think about new ways of creating as entertainment can't fall behind. I have to think about what's going to happen in the future. If it was something like an alien coming into my game, it wouldn't matter much about the current state of the world. We could just make up any concept or ideas.
But I always want to put some societal elements into the game as a base into the game to introduce the players to what's happening and maybe they'll think about it. Of course, all the while be entertaining. With this speed of change I need to really consider which predication I make and which ways I introduce ideas to the player.
The title of Kojima Productions is well and truly one of the productions benefiting from the brushstroke offered by the PlayStation 5, and this announcement comes in a typically "Kojimesque" video.
Death Stranding Director's Cut is therefore an improved version of the base game and seems to bring 60 fps as well as new content. This version will arrive soon on PlayStation 5.
More details in the coming weeks
The great outdoors is what gave the game its vibe tho. For me at least.I suppose the odds of the "new content" getting updated into the PS4 version are pretty slim?
I really want more Death Stranding, for sure, but I do not necessarily want to re-buy and replay Death Stranding to get to more of it (or buy a new console for it, for that matter).
So little of the game took place indoors so I am definitely intrigued at the sight of Sam traversing in an enclosed environment.
Sony does not publish Death Stranding on PC. 505 Games does.Sony is the one who owns the IP and the publisher of this game, not Kojipro.
So Sony will be who will decide if they release this on PC or not. And in the case they decide to release it on PC, Sony will decide if they publish these version or if they allow to publish it on PC with another publisher, and when.
Yes, it's what I said.Sony does not publish Death Stranding on PC. 505 Games does.
There are exactly zero hints to an episodic game, to a horror game, or to Gamepass. He literally announced a game for Sony instead that won't be released on Xbox. Just an expanded and updated version of the previous released not too far ago. Nothing too big because as he said they have been pretty fucked with covid and ported the game to PC.Kojima clearly hinting at that 'episodic' horror game on Gamepass imo.
Not really the case here. Kojima made the deal with Sony in 2015 for a PC release, which was before they were interested in publishing on PC themselves. The PC version has a few extra bits of content that the PS4 version still doesn't have (Half-Life stuff). I don't think Sony would sign off on giving things exclusively to PC if all the decisions were fully in their hands.Yes, it's what I said.
As the owner of the IP, Sony decides in which platforms their game gets released, or if it gets a sequel, a spinoff, a dlc or a movie. They may hire someone to port and publish it somewhere else, or to do whatever they want with that IP because it's their brand.
Nobody can't touch an IP without the greenlight of the IP owner. Sony greenlighted the PC port and the extra PC bits. In the same way Sega had to greenlight Bayonetta 2 being exclusive and getting Nintendo outfits. Not really the case here. But I haven't even started the normal one
So is Kojima part of their PlayStation studios?Because Sony is the owner of the Death Stranding IP and the publisher of Death Stranding and Death Stranding Director's Cut (even if they allowed Kojima to port it to PC with another publisher).

And for what he says he's still figuring out what is going to be his next game. If it's a game.
He transcends such human constructsSo is Kojima part of their PlayStation studios?
Time constraints and contractual obligations I guessSo, who cut the original?
I think thats right
Kojima is just responding to rumours he is going back to MGS
The trailer is like saying "we've thought about jumping back in the box (MGS), but its not right any more"
That's exactly what I got from this video as well. Also see the 'Handle With Love' on the box. Probably means whoever takes up the MGS IP needs to take proper care of it.
Really nice touches by Kojima.
no more one step a time -this clearly means he want to do something brand new... not a bit new.Idk, from the read, Kojima hinted that 'traditional' games are off his menu.
'no more like the past, no more one step a time' - sounds like he is going episodic.
I don't think they'll charge full price on people who own the PS4 game, either.I think it's gonna be like FF7 Integrade. New DLC for those who have the game already + free update for PS5 graphics buff.
As long as he uses DualSense fully, it'll be worth the (most likely) paid remaster.Torn between gushing and being pissed that we aren't getting a basic frame unlock on PS4 version
I’m really confused xD.He transcends such human constructs
A guy named Bridges with a Sam avatar gave me a thumbs up. Yo yo, you know it!The great outdoors is what gave the game its vibe tho. For me at least.
Not sold on indoor locales, just the 60fps and the haptics.
Haha, as in he’s so godly he doesn’t fit any known definition like a “studio”I’m really confused xD.
