That's nice but you still have multiple examples of a publisher that is honored these deals in the past before...
So I'm sorry but you don't even know if the game were talking about also has the same type of "commitments" ^^^^ especially if we're fucking talkin about a 2021 launch. If that's the case did you just assumed for years on end it just had no development on multiple platforms or something weird like that? Technically speaking they did the same thing to Minecraft and a bunch of other acquisitions they made, I think they actually even did the same thing with Rare where the team was literally developing games on The Game Cube and Game Boy Advance even after their purchase.
Soooooo you just sound mad that examples exist of this publisher actually doing this more then not. So it's definitely in the air and multiple examples can be used. For all you know its either too far along development, Sony has some DLC deal or marketing deal like you saw with Call Of Duty as they actually do with several Bethesda titles etc.
Who knows, but more examples show MS is actually ok with this then less....its actually why your post is simply a guess with little examples or links or anything....
Starfield coming to PS5 if they indeed have a 2021 release date isn't that fucking shocking, MS has actually done this several times where they bought a team or company and allow them to continue to release projects they already had in works on the platforms they are made for. That could be the same shit with this title. You've given little evidence to even show they wouldn't do that or have never done that etc.
Shit, thats like saying in 2002 "If you think Rare games is coming to Nintendo, I have to say, that's some impressive coping derrrr" and then do your best to ignore the years they continued to put out games on other platforms =)
They have a history of this more then Sony and Nintendo do, thus.....the idea fits that they would and even their own comments show they would honor those "commitments". So who know if it does happen or not, but I won't be shocked even slightly if it does as you are literally talking about a 2021 title, of a deal that was finalized in 2021....does that sound like a time frame to cancel all versions? MS didn't even do that with other deals YEARS after purchases let alone that very same year of release.
