Sorta makes sense. From the opinions i've read on the game, seems the rogue mechanics are too much of a pain for the casual mainstream public, while at the same time it isn't a very good rogue-like.I feel like people forced themselves to like Returnal.
I thought Franklin was a great character, infact, GTA V with just him would have been pretty good. Trevor was just too over the top in an over the top childish crass writing way (It just wasnt funny, reallt) and Mike, while not bad was a too self centered (Which is what they were going for anyway I guess but it doesnt make an interesting character..)GTA V while technically great is a cringe fest that has one of the worst characters ever created with Trevor. Rockstar wanted to win back the people who didn't like GTA IV so they put out a game with grade school fart jokes. I don't think I cared about a single character.
PRRREEAA..The Wii U is the best console Nintendo ever made (when it's soft modded).
Resident Evil OG 96 controls better than REmake (tank controls-wise).
I agree with you there 100%.I believe that video games, in their current form, are a net negative on your life and society and a relative waste of time.
Holy shit.#4 I thoroughly enjoyed Duke Nukem Forever. It was every bit of a ridiculous fast food politically incorrect garbage that people liked in the first game. And even when it released 10 years ago it already felt like a breadth of fresh air.
LOL. I stand by it. I mainly notice it because I've played through OG 96 at least a hundred times. I've only played through REmake 3 or 4 times. REmake feels like you're controlling a boat, a bit floaty and sluggish. It's not nearly as responsive as OG 96. Turning radius feels much more wide on REmake, OG 96 is much tighter in that regard.
It's way too triggering, that's for sure. I got tired of giving out triggered emotes to almost every post so I stopped somewhere early on. But rest assured, most of ya'll deserve one.
I commented on Reddit that the whole censoring Miranda’s buttshots in ME LE was a waste of time and the devs should’ve spent it on something else like making the new lighting look better. Needless to say I got scathing responses from many a white Knight.
I loved Final Fantasy XV.
Are you serious? In the modern age of gaming capable, smartphones, ultra portable e-books, audio books, and less commuting due to an increase in remote work...portable gaming systems make less and less sense.
Not everyone is so fortunate to have had the time to experience all of the great games of the past. I don't know why it's strange that someone would want to catch up on some things that they may enjoy. You ever see an old movie/read an old book?3# - I honestly don't get the people who are only into the retro emulation scene. Did you not play those games already? Are you really that far stuck in the past that you're unable to enjoy recent games? You guys sound like those dudes who peaked in high school as quarterbacks dating cheerleaders but 30 years later couldn't find a job or a partner, so you can only get gratification from looking at old pics or high school reunions to comment on how cool you were in the distant past.
I never understood what’s so special about Uncharted games, they are solid games without a doubt but nowhere near as good as people say. I wouldn’t rate any aspect of any uncharted game above average, except for graphics, they have always been phenomenal in terms of visuals.
They think they are still liberal yet fail to see they are the perfect example of becoming more conservative as you age.Yeah, and the funny thing about that is that liberal progressive types used to be the ones promoting sexy females, sexual content, nudity, promiscuity, etc. Think about it, it’s the whole reason that Mass Effect had that type of content in the game in the first place, all those years ago. Now every “progressive” type thinks they’re a fucking nun, or a cop. Very disturbing. What the fuck happened these last 10 years? Jesus fucking christ.
Look at the first God of War game. That game sure as fuck wasn’t made by “conservatives”, or the alt right. And look at Sony and the content of their games now. Again, FUCKING CHRIST, what a nightmare our current era is.
For real. You need to go through 7,400 different comic books, shows, and movies to even start to catch up. No idea how people can shit on Star Wars for milking the franchise when this fucking abomination of media exists.
That's absolutely false, the fact that you say this proves that you really don't know what you are talking about.
I bet you came to this conclusion because you probably watch one random reunion movie in the middle, like an Avengers movie, without having seen any others, you didn't understand it, and you assumed you had to have knowledge about everything marvel to follow it, but that's not true.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is its own thing, it's not canon with any comics or other Marvel Medias, and some stuff in these movies don't happen like they do in the comics anyway, they are really not related.
The only thing you need to be able to follow this saga, is to watch the MCU movies, and that's it.
Yes, it's a lot of movies, about 23 for the main "infinity saga", but it's really not a problem if you are into it, the movies are great and are all connected very well in a consistent, logical way, it's just like watching a super high budget show, with 23 episodes of 2 hours.
It's in my opinion an amazing thing that this project even exists, it's the best adaptation of a "comic book style" that could have been made in movies, having a large scale world with so many different things, all connected in one coherent saga.
It might not be for you, it's not for everyone, but it's moslty perfect for people who do like super heroes / comic book styles, and what you said in your comment was just a wrong assumption.
Okay, I'm sorry to quote you again on that, but I would really like to understand something.
I was not giving a personnal opinion / point of view, I even said that it was fine to not like Marvel content, I was simply correcting you on something you said that was objectively wrong related to these movies structure, maybe because you were just misinformed / had a bad experience with that content.
I took the time to explain it, and I see that you reacted with a "LOL" reaction to my reply, so I'm wondering, what was actually so funny about it?
I'm not even trying to fight, I'm legitimately curious because that behaviour doesn't seem logical in that context.
Tf is this shit? Just say the thing instead of this cryptic hinting, nobody cares. When what was going on behind the scenes in the 2010s at IGN gets exposed it will be the biggest scandal video games has ever seen (not my story to tell)
I see. I guess a part of the confusion came from the fact that I was mostly focusing on the marvel part in your comment, I was not taking any side on the Star Wars thing. It's not that deep. I tried watching the movies from the beginning, to eventually get to the end and see why everyone loves this stuff so much. Superhero movies/shows are usually boring IMO. Just a couple OP chads in every movie. I stopped on the 8th or 9th movie?
My commentary was mostly on the fact that people around here criticize Star Wars movies/shows for being "milked" and then get excited for their next copy/paste superhero movie or show every few months.
just use any bluetooth controller...Are you serious?
With specs getting better and the advancement of time, a dedicated handheld that has all the needed buttons for 1:1 input, is shaped comfortabley, isn't limited by touch controls etc...
I'd kill for a Portable PS4.
Tf is this shit? Just say the thing instead of this cryptic hinting, nobody cares.
Reminds me of all these tweets coming out now after this Activision lawsuit like "I TOO CAN CONFIRM ALL THIS HORRIBLE SHIT WAS HAPPENING FOR YEARS". Great work why didn't you say anything at the time then?
"biggest scandal video games has ever seen" come on bro you're an anon avatar on a message board not Bob Woodward.
A good example of a kind of gameplay working better in 2D. See, 3D isn’t always for the better!Fighting games are lame. They’re fundamentally still the same as they were thirty years ago. The genre has seen no real evolution since the days of Street Fighter 2 and Tekken 1. I would even argue that the genre never truly made the jump to 3d; they’re still limited to the same strict side-perspective they had during the 2d era (except for some ‘cinematic’ takedowns).
Bushido Blade on PS1, with its optional 1st person perspective and the ability to freely move around the arena, was the first and only time that a fighting game seriously tried to embrace all 3 dimensions (at least as far as I’m aware). Unfortunately, the game (and its sequel) seems to have been a fluke, and the genre hasn’t moved forward at all.
I'm not gonna cart a portable monitor around say like a surface pro laptop/tablet for remote play, and a ps4 pad. That's what I have to suffer with now, realistically, it stops me from gaming remotely. I'd do it loads if it was more efficient. In the bath, in bed, on the toilet, on public transport, while the misses is boring me to tears doing the shopping...just use any bluetooth controller...
I'm just here to hop on the pixel art, isometric indie game hate train. Choo-choo motherfuckers.
The only superhero thing I'm looking forward to is the next season of Amazon's The Boys. Outside that I don't give one rat fuck about superhero films anymore. Fucking hell it just won't stop. Surprised Hollywood hasn't blown their load all over anime just yet. They're trying though. We'll all suffer. It's not that deep. I tried watching the movies from the beginning, to eventually get to the end and see why everyone loves this stuff so much. Superhero movies/shows are usually boring IMO. How often are you in a setting where 30min+ gaming sessions are practical while out of reach of a PC or console which by almost every metric imaginable is a superior experience? And is that time really often enough that you'd rather pay for a dedicated handheld, purchase games separately for it, carry it around, ect, instead of reading a book, listening to a podcast, browsing, or playing some stupid game on your phone which you'd have with you anyway? Are you serious?

I agree with this SO much. Never once had the inclination to 100% any game I've ever played. Trophies are absolutely pointless.Feeling obliged to collect trophies rather then just enjoy a game is odd. No one likes you more because you "platinumed" some random Japanese import game.
