What developer said that all XSS games would have raytracing? That is an example of a made up claim to try and paint the XSS of doing things that it was never said.
Why is raytracing singled out but the fact that the XSS has the same features as the XSX ignored? It was always clear the device had lower graphical capabilities.
Is the XSS lacking the ability to use quick resume?
Does fps boost not work on the platform? Does Doom Eternal, the game this thread is about not run at 120 fps?
Does the XSS have a different CPU than the XSX? Does the XSS not have RDNA2 feature set?
Why do you ignore developers who say that the XSS is not a problem but focus on ancient quotes to try and prove some point?
Do you have any evidence that a MAJORITY of developers are having problems?
Can you show that the complaining developers are using SFS and VA to mitigate the RAM issues they claim are an issue?
Can you show that the developers reached out to MS BEFORE running to Twitter?
Even your question about raytracing is disingenuous. Did you know Watch Dog Legion, Observer, and Resident Evil 8 all HAVE raytracing? Does that make you feel better? Why are those titles ignored but this specific game proves there is a major problem? That is the weird thing to me. As I've told you many many times. You don't want to play on the XSS because it doesn't meet your performance requirements? That's fine but there is no reason to invent issues. It is a fantastic device for it's target audience.
