Bought this yesterday for $5 CDN. The sale said it'd end yesterday so I got it. Turns out they stretched out the deal to Jan 2 now. lol. They got me to bite early. Bastards in the marketing department!

Curious to see what on my wishlist gets hit.

Would likely bite on the megaman zero collection at $9.99 now if that happens so I can play it on my deck when I travel.

Not sure what else I’d really want. I’ve played it all :(

BTW I'll still be checking my wishlist at gg.deals for any meaningful price changes. But my guess is that the Epic store will have the best prices of them all since there's an additional 25% off with coupons.

Yeah... It's that time of a year when my strong will and resolve on finishing more games than buying as always will be broken lol

I already get cheaper prices from key shops, thank you.

Yes, but when there is a Steam sale, key shops lower the prices on some of their games.

That is why it's nice to check with price aggregators, to see what is the best deal.

Anybody tried Against the Storm? It looks like it might scratch that Frostpunk itch. Been debating whether I want to spend the $20 on it.

Hoping for a better discount on El Shaddai than the paltry 20%. Might snag a couple of game more if the price is right.

I miss old steam sales so much. I dont usually buy from steam directly because there are better options most of the time.

The Steam holiday sales in the early 2010s were the best. That, alongside Humble Bundle just getting started, increased my Steam library by probably 2000%. I still have at least 50 unused random Steam gifts/keys from games around then. I used to buy them up, then dole them out to friends later on.

Actually, I just gave my buddy a copy of Portal 2 and HL2 a couple weeks ago.

Not sure why I stopped caring about Steam sales anymore, but if you look at my Steam collection, it’s absolutely littered with hundreds of games from 2009-2014 that I have never, and probably will never play.

Good times.

Same I also remember an old thq bundle before they went down.

20 bucks for like 20 games really good times. The timed sales were also fire but you had to buy it in like 8 hours. Iam getting nostalgic haha.

I got it the other day as well but refunded it.

It's not that it's bad (I don't know, didn't play long enough) but it definitely should not be Steam Deck verified.

I bought it to play on the deck and there's no native controller support, it's just moving the mouse cursor around with the analogue stick and then left/right clicking with the triggers.

Just a warning to anyone considering it for the same reason I did.

I let my son start using my Steam account years ago and he's been slowly taken it over it due to him playing with his friends and I not really having the time to game and now I find myself in a situation that the easiest thing I can do is create a new account for myself and give up on my old account. Kids can do these things to you.

Time to create a new backlog with the winter sale. Hooah!
