This is never happening. The GPU power/mem bandwidth gap between XSX and PS5 isn't that large for a game to be 4K on XSX and 1080p on PS5 while targeting identical frame-rates.1080p vs 4k would be the biggest fuck up of all time.

Rather than secret sauce or better hardware, i think the bigger issue are bad programing practices by the developers. Seeing the PC port of some previously console-only games like RDR2 and HZD having terrible performance and stability issues, and considering we can still detect terrible practices in these ports like tying game systems to framerate, makes me think theres some serious Go Horse philosophy at work during the development of these big titles.If true cerny has to go. So it's 1080p/60fps at launch, and then 4K upscaled, then probably something like 1440p upscaled.
It's the same base GPU, same manufacturer and architecture. Just with different extensions available.the PS5 has a different GPU design philosophy
OpenGL and Vulkan is also supported on PC. Only first party devs (Naughty Dog, etc) use Sony's proprietary graphics API.and a different API

True , their engine is the perfect example for making a topnotch looking games running on low end hardware , it can't be true .Having seen what Sony first party studios have done so far, I genuinely believe this is an issue on Capcom's side. Perhaps more work is needed to really get the PS5 really purring with the RE engine which does seem more power hungry over pushing speed. But I'm sure developers have also said developers are really enjoying PS5 development because of its simplicity. This is likely a development issue.
