most sports gaf had left for discord, I see the Canadian poli one as well on discord, not sure if any of Jose are finding other homes

Apologies to those just now trying to join the Discord & follow with us in the move. We'll definitely see what we can do to bring you with us once invites open again, but right now ResetEra and getting the 500+ users already on the discord checked and brought over without issue is our #1 priority.

In the meantime we have some great games to look forward to this week and many many complaints to post about Canada post failing us yet again on release day lol

It seems like a lot of people are leaving and most are moving to a new forum that they're trying to make (I guess it's called ResetEra).

I haven't logged on in a while, I only checked because of an article I read about the whole thing.

I guess having discord's a good way to know what's going on.

I don't know what's going to happen but I'll leave this animated gif.

Well, I’m excited for Super Mario Odyssey to arrive from Walmart 🤷🏻

I think I’m just going to focus on video games for the next couple of months, and I’ll see which forum is most popular then. I don’t have time to be present in like three places at once, you know? I’ll need a one stop shop, for all of my obscure little video game communities.

So... Walmart sent me a copy of Destiny 2 PC but the order was cancelled due to it being linked to my old credit card...

Yeah, some bad stuff happened but I was here to talk about games and enjoy my hobby with other people who like games too.

So anyway, when is this new Reset Era discord channel will be ready?

I just want to talk about my hobby and now everything seems ruined, most of the threads are about this incident ...

This is one thing I hate about gaming nowadays it became so big and popular that it's getting so political and full of controversies.

And now to stay on topic: Amazon.ca finally shipped my FE Warriors collector yesterday and will get it today, Can't wait!

discord is active now but invites are on hold as far as I can tell. mods updated saying lots of stuff moving behind the scenes today.

Just ignore it and go about talking about games. That's all you can do. Eventually all the loud mouths will get banned and there won't be anything left to derail conversations.

On topic:

Got an amiibo today from best buy shipped in a bubble envelope. Shit was wrecked upon opening. WHY DO THEY KEEP SHIPPING IN BUBBLE MAILERS!?!

Last year I got my mini NES from them in a bubble mailer all the box's edges were crushed -_-
For some reason this year I got my SNES mini in a nice box, so I guess it's random and it depends on who take care of your order uh ?

Amazon always ship with bubble mailer though they are the worse .

So the community argument is great and all but at least be aware of the gravity of what has happened here (this doesn't even touch the Amorix xhild porn fiasco) and make an informed decision based off of that.

Well I am now ( I had no idea about one of the mods being a fucking pedo, that's disgusting) I was kinda aware of what is going on.
But my point is I don't really care about all that stuff call me egoist or say I have no empathy if you want but I'm here for talking about games/deals my hobbies and fun stuff .

If you check my posts history I never really got into arguments like these, I know they exist I am aware of that but like the news on TV I avoid that negative stuff .

I also can't stand internet/youtube/facebook/twitter drama.
But this place is certainly falling apart it feels like being on GameFAQs forum now maybe it will be better in a couple of weeks but anyway il give resetera a try

1. Is Amazon.ca doing a pre-order bonus for Assassins Creed Origins? I thought I saw it on there awhile ago but now I don't see it. Just checking if they will send out codes for that bonus stuff.

2. Anyone hear of EB Games doing a midnight launch for the Xbox One X? Don't see anything on their website but we still have 2 weeks to go. Maybe they will announce something next week.

Walmart sent me an email today for delivery confirmation for my parcel. I thought "the only thing I've got ordered from Walmart is Mario Odyssey", start getting excited. Check the email and it's for my SNES Classic I got like 3 weeks ago.

What the hell, Walmart? Why you do this?
