Did you make sure there's not like a piece of food stuck in the connector? You said you dusted it off, but... never know. Did you check if maybe a piece of the connector broke off and got stuck? (this somehow happened to my eSATA cable, I have a piece of connector stuck in my external HD now and it won't connect -.-)

Yeah it seems fairly clean now, certainly as clean as it's ever been, I got loads of compacted lint out of it, but it had always worked fine with it too.

Another odd thing I noticed this morning was that the headphones would cut out as if they'd been pulled out, stopping the music. And even weirder, sometimes the audio would cut and the volume slider would disappear and I'd need to unplug/replug the phones to get it to work again.

What a bummer.

Going by that site it seems FFI and FFII are getting sales too. I wonder why...
SE generally does sales when they release new games or so I've noticed, and since this one is specifically for those titles (it seems), does this mean a new FF game is coming to iOS?

Liking it much more than Jetpack Joyride so far, not sure why though
Maybe feels a tad more like I can control it better.

Some of the missions do feel like they are either there too early, or too late, bit of balancing due maybe?

Confirmation FFIV is the DS version (made sense since III was) and release date:

This one was inevitable: Final Fantasy IV is just the latest in Square Enix's flagship series to see iOS and Android ports, and this one will also be based on the Nintendo DS remake. The good news is that iOS users worldwide get the title on December 20th for 1800 yen ($21.84 US), in the usual eight languages. The bad news is that Android users have to wait until next spring.
Although there's literally nothing to see (except a logo and the date), you can check out the official page here.

Hopefully it's handled as nicely as FFIII was, the higher resolution definitely makes the game look a bit cleaner.

Got it fixed! It was mild water damage I think, not entirely shocking since I got fucking drenched in the rain last night. Only cost £35 to fix too which was a relief. All good now probably can't afford BG till payday though

I wish that modern combat 4 had a 30fps toggle you could enable, running at near 60 kills the iphones battery like no tomorrow, makes the phone really hot too.

About 2 hours of gameplay has taken my battery from above 90% to 21%, it's good but you could get more with a framerate cap.

I have made hands that I regret, when I thought I was hitting a different card. Because there is only one hand to be made, forcing you to use certain cards makes no sense. It is difficult to see the suits on each card, and then accidentally adding them to your hand. And of course, the silly graphics and storyline.

I've been flip flopping all day whether to get the game anyway. I love a good RPG but I'm concerned it is a little too hardcore for my liking. And now needing iOS 6... Vice City it is!

It's not like those but I finished it. It's pretty old and old school, but the remake looks pretty neat for what it is. I think 4,5,6 are more like 7,8,9,10,12 more story driven etc.

Get it. It's still my favorite numbered FF, I think. It has everything I want in an FF game: not too simple, but no teen angst, great gameplay and exploration, plenty of variety, the job system, of course. The game looks great too.

I guess this post is aimed at Mario really.

I can't get Into the Dead to work at all on my 3rd gen iPad. It freezes at various points at start up and at the menu. Pretty weird that no-one else in the thread seems to be having issues, I tried deleting and reinstalling and everything. I am jailbroken on iOS 6, perhaps it is a firmware issue?

Really want to try it out as well, looks great! (As all PikPok games are)
