Funny, I haven’t seen articles like this for GPU’s for some reason.

It’s always “playstation is so expensive” which is not an honest critique of a product, cellphones cost more than a ps5. People know how much video game consoles cost and they know at this point what they offer, price is never a major factor for most buying consumers, especially around this time of year.

Its either you’re in the market to buy a new video game system or you’re not and if you want a ps5 nothing is going to make you want a Switch or Series S instead.

These same sensationalist articles came out around the time the ps5 went up in price and it changed nothing. PS5 is still flying off shelves everywhere. People want a good quality product and playstation is a valued brand in gaming and thats not gonna change any time soon despite all the clickbait dooming articles.

Where and how is it changing? game sales are only slightly down from when we were in a global pandemic, and they’re up from years prior to it. Nintendo sold like 90k switch’s in Japan last week, GPU’s are flying off shelves, sony just had a record quarter…the new xbox is outselling the last xbox. Etc

Ps5 disc is 500-550 and he makes it sound like it’s impossibly expensive and so much more than Xbox. There is also digital.
Games are 70 because these are huge very expensive games that are worth the money. Sony don’t have infinite money of Microsoft to pay for that.

Imo gamepass leads to devaluation of gaming and games. Leads to crappier smaller games and leads to spoiling people to not pay.
