Is there a perk that allows you to attach more than 5 attachments?

Nope.

You're sole reason for playing is to ruin someone's online experience?

If yes: I Pity you.

Got over 70 hours in the game so far. I cycle through all the attachments and all the guns. Noob tubes are not very common in this game unlike the PS360 days, but when I do get to one I take delight in using it, yes. Most underbarrel attachments are just grips, so noob tubes are a rare treat.

Also look: there’s literally executions in the game as an extra way to say fuck you to enemy players lol. They're extremely slow and leave you vulnerable but it feels so good.

It doesn't reward you enough.

I remember in older BF games revive and repair were really good tools to rack up points. There was a lot of revives in BC2 for example, and also BF3/4 still perhaps. I mostly ran Medic or Engineer in old BF. Before all classes lost their identity.

Killstreaks I tend to shoot down. I shot down a VTOL today. Yesterday one crashed on me after I shot it lol. But UAV, to be honest I can't really spot them. In MW2019 I shot them down a lot. Also because there were accomplishments attached to these feats.
Same thing happened to me with the VTOL a couple days ago, crashed right on my head! I clipped it but might have deleted already I dunno.

I don't do supportive things in these games for points, I do it to be helpful. I don't always run medic in bf but when I do I definitely revive

Javelin takes 10 days to shoot down a UAV. I had to switch from my stinger/pila because it reached max level.

The really good players can shoot down UAV's with the non-lockon launchers. I've done it a few times before but it takes a lot of practice to do consistently. Also I can't state this as a fact, but it seems the UAVs are not the same distance depending on the map. On Taraq and Asilo they seem pretty high in the sky but in Fortress and Raceway they seem a lot closer. Might just be my imagination.

Wonder if they are going to do anything about the UAV spam. Sometimes it's ridiculous. Make the pila have more ammo and make it reload faster for example. Once the enemy has like 4 or 5 UAVs up in the air, it's basically round over.

For sure, strange that there are no gunsmith attachments or anything for it. I also hate how after I shoot off a rocket my game goes into slow motion when I'm reloading it... If I try and walk while reloading my game chugs, if I try and swap weapons my game chugs. Has killed me many times.

I'm on xbox and have not made the slo mo experience yet. But launchers reload so slow, it's more or less a miracle when I'm able to unload all 2 rockets before getting shot. You would think with ghost not being available for the larger part of a match, they would buff launchers to give people an incentive to shoot down the UAVs, but that's not the case. I would like to see that changed a bit.

They could just increase the xp from shooting them down to get more people on it. The default launcher takes them down easy enough. It’s just not any people bothering.

yeah, something like that. Just some small adjustments to keep the UAV spam in check.

Oh man... now i gotta move stuff around and pre-load WZ2 and whatever space is required for MW2 season 01. Oof... Love the SSDs in these systems but hate the space limitations. I have multiple externals and everything, but i'm out of space on them already too.

Yup. I started thinking my lunch would make me sick later when I read it as going live today. Now I feel fine though. I don’t think the lunch i haven’t eaten will make me sick today after all.
Tuesday night's dinner may be a different story.

I'm not sure how many hours I've logged to this point, probably close to 40, but I'm really up and down with this game.

Currently, down. The two things really hindering my enjoyment are the never-goddamned-ending UAV spam, and the way they do perks now.

If I could run ghost from the outset, I could ignore the UAVs. But since I can't, I basically have to run every loadout with a launcher, and constantly run outside like I'm on fire to take the fuckers down.

It's gonna drag down HC mode as well.

I find myself going back to Cold War, a lot, because of it.

Do I need to load war zone ?

If not, then it’s something I would be happy to not have installed. When I’m not in the mood to play it

I know it was tied to modern warfare 😬🙈

Another non-launcher option is to use decoys until ghost is available. You start with 2 and can replenish with ammo crates. The attention they draw can help neutralize the uav advantages.

That's a weird obsession you have with UAVs. I literally take zero notice of them, like who cares man, just keep running around shooting fools.

Far from weird, considering it's one of the top complaints I see about the game.
It's kind of weird because UAV has always been part of the game. It becomes less weird when you realize its the perk system that people are really complaining about (waiting time for ghost). But there are counter-options and I vote that increased strategy made the game better.

Fair point. It really is the perk system. Not being able to use Ghost until 50-75% through the match completely sucks. But early on, when you first start playing and have nothing unlocked, one of the default perk packages had UAV with a -1 to kills to receive it, which meant you got a UAV after 2 kills if you used it. The sky was absolutely packed with UAVs.

In every other CoD, I used Blind Eye and Ghost. It's core to my play style. Having them both delayed now really bums the experience.

I can't think of any reason why they would do it this way now, except to ensure more ~1.0 KDRs, which is bullshit.

I think it drops from 4 kills to 3 with the -1 perk. But yeah, in ground war / invasion the sky is packed.

One other note - delaying ghost discourages campers too. It definitely helps some people with their kd, but that might be less than you would think thanks to the slower pace / nerfed bunny hopping (etc.).

I have this weird glitch on Xbox where if i let it sit idle for whatever reason and get the message that says it's disconnected from services/servers or whatever.. the sound in the game completely disappears. I had to full close the game out by quitting and then start game back up for sound to resume. So many times since launch now i've gone into matches only to realize everything is dead silent. Makes it a lot harder to play haha

My thought is the opposite. I think it actually encourages camping, since now you know you can be seen, so the best way to survive is to hunker down in a defensible spot until the UAV is gone.

If you're running around, you're more likely to be seen from one of the myriad lines of sight now that the enemy knows where you're moving.

Not that I care either way. I don't mind camping/campers in the base modes, because all you have to do is watch the killcam to know where they are, then you root em out.

My WZ2 install on Xbox is only 6GB? Is that normal? I've hard reset the system and everything...

Oh man my new favorite loadout is the Bryson 890 w one of the silencer muzzles and the sawed off stock. Your mobility and speed with that setup is amazing haha

Feel like I've been getting wrecked more than usual the past few days, like everyone I'm playing is hopped up on Mountain Dew and Adderall. I'm pretty terrible, but I'm usually good for 15 kills and fewer deaths by being patient, but that's been flipped around most games lately. SBMM was kind enough to just grace me with a match with fellow potatoes and I got 30 kills and only a handful of deaths, which was nice. Next match should be a doozy.

The last cod I got was Cold War, I picked MW2 up to play with pals on PS5, and I was hoping someone could recommend to me what a good starting set up would be for a lapsed player?
I feel a bit lost right now if I’m honest, lots of guns, none of which I know anything about. For some reason the starting assault rifle has lots unlocked for it, but nothing else has a damn thing. Am I better just picking a smg and levelling it? Or use that AR?
I feel ridiculously out of my depth with this!

Pretty much all the guns are viable and useful, but for starting you will likely want to avoid Battle Rifles, Marskman Rifles, and Sniper Rifles.

Assault Rifles and SMGs are very beginner-friendly. The M4 is kind of intended as the starter gun, so once you unlock Create-A-Class on level 6 or so, you can just run with that. You unlock attachments as you level the gun. Some guns are locked behind character level, while other guns are locked behind leveling other guns. On PS5 you can see the unlock paths by pressing the touchpad in the Gunsmith menu.

I don't know what's going on but I swear I feel like I'm using M&Ms as ammo. I'll be unloading a full mag at people only for them to absorb them like the fucking Terminator, duck, reload their weapon, have a smoke, and then proceed to fucking kill me with basically a three round burst or a one shot with the SP08. I literally just quit to desktop and came here to vent.

And that console aim assist is something else. I play on PC and when I watch the killcam and it's like I can see the point where they squeeze L2/LT and instantly lock onto me and I'm dead. I'm almost tempted to plug in my controller and see how I do. I swore I heard somewhere, can't quite remember if it was something someone said in a video or on a forum somewhere but that a couple of people playing on PC where considering using controllers since people seemed to be doing so well with them.
