I think Hellblade will make 2022. I'm shocked that game hasn't released yet. The first was basically a AA walking-sim with a few very rudimentary combat sections woven in.

Let's see if they have surprises in stores otherwise this seems to be an incredibly poor year for them.
They should profit from these delays next year though, these things are cyclical.
Last year they happened to have many releases, this year is barren land, next year should be much better.
Ideally development pipelines should be planned so that things are better spread out.

The Show came to xbox so doesn't really count. Ms had two dlcs while Sony only had one. Sony got them beat with the other two exclusives though. But they were both supposed to launch last year. Ms has a wealth of games last year when Sony didn't. Sony would have been competitive with Ms last year if they had gotten gt7 and hzd2 out on time

I'll believe it when I see it, but I'm 99.9% sure it's not coming this year. Avowed coming out before Hellblade 2 doesn't make any sense at all, HB2 coming Fall 2022 is more believable.

Last circuit racer that took five years was GT5 and that...that one didn't pan out too well (took a while for it to get up to par).

This year...Sony out here doing PC ports and making room for their games to be released this year. The PSN date change for God of War is a big coincidence with TLoU Part 1 Remake getting announced yesterday.

Whoever tries to Sony Too right now...its really not a good look. Nintendo had some releases this year too so....

I was done with last gen games in 2020. But yes Sony has had more games. Excited for Forspoken but the rest of Sony's lineup is too samey for me. Same reason why I didnt much care for Xbox last year even though they clearly had more games with better metacritic scores. These last gen games are well crafted, and are decent games, but feel too dated in 2021 and 2022, I dont care what the metacritic says.
