God of War Ragnarok, Spider-man 2, Wolverine, Final fantasy 16 and Baldur's Gate 3.

I'm really looking forward to ND's multiplayer game assuming it has the same gameplay as TLoU2. I'm not into multiplayer anymore but I really liked the multiplayer on the first TLoU and I really liked PUBG (before it became obvious that it was developed by a very incapable studio).

Beyond I think PSVR2 is going to be a massive upgrade over PSVR and to me PSVR already provided some of the most memorable experiences I ever had while gaming. To me VR as it matures will inevitably be where you'll be able to find the most advanced games and it's just a matter of devs figuring out that transition.

I still haven't played the first Hellblade so I can't pretend that I'm really excited for Hellblade 2 but it seems like the sort of game that I should like from what I can tell. I can't wait for a proper Unreal 5 game to release and this seems like it could be one of the first to release.

PC/ XBOX has games that I'm interested 10x more than on ps5. Only spiderman 2 for me on ps5 while on PC:

Starfield
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake
Elden scrolls 6
State of Decay 3
Stalker 2
Fable
Everwild

and then theres Squadron in the year of 2042.

Absolutely crazy lineup.

I'm excited most for Spiderman 2 and Wolverine to play them but I'm really intrigued as to what Indy Andy Jones will be like, as in genre and playing perspective.

You dont have Contraband there but I'm pretty excited for that too, hopefully it's a good Smugglers Run successor.

The Senua thumbnail is hilarious 😂 what a chonker! Imagine the noise of a wailing walrus along with that image and tell me its not funny. Really highlights the only bad thing about that demo, should've had the giant as the thumbnail.

Hopefully Indiana Jones is a FPS, which probably is. The best perspective. God knows we dont need another 3rd person game on the market, we're drowning in them

Haven't seen much of a lot of those games except GoW: R and Spider-man 2. Starfield and TES 6 headline the rest for me. Avowed and Outer Worlds 2......we will see. The rest? No idea.

Edit: Damn....forgot to mention Fable. Definitely looking forward to seeing more of that one.

Indiana Jones FPS? I don't see it. And.....I don't want it. Third person action adventure all the way.

Im sure it will be focused on being action adventure. Just as having the best perspective of all, first person. I know console focused players are usually enamored with 3rd person because thats the only thing they knew on consoles. But think about it. When games nail what they're trying to do, being first person is ALWAYS unique and memorable. Those games that nail their gameplay in first person become talked about for all times. Dark Messiah, Mirror's Edge, Riddick, Titanfall, etc. Do you think if Mirror's Edge was some run of the mill 3rd person game anyone would have gave 2 shits about it ? It's the fact that it was in first person and doing parcour that made it stand out and be talked about 15 years later. The unique feeling that only being in first person can offer. If you were instead just looking at a character model jumpin around, who cares. It would have basically been another platformer.

Look at this Castlevania Doom mod for what could be an indy in first person

I mean......it is fine that you think first person is the "best perspective". I think it depends on the game. Action adventure games, imo, are better in third person. Naughty Dog's games. Tomb Raider. Assassin's Creed. Pretty much any game best on a super-hero. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying your personal preference is wrong, but I just don't think most will want to play an Indy game in first person.

Why VS? All those games will be playable on PC. However most PC gamers will be playing BOTW 2 in 2023/2024

Mix of both sides for me, I am very hyped for God of War and Spider-Man on the PS5 side, sequels to two of my favorite games of last gen. Then on PC I really wanted Hellblade II and STALKER 2. And I am cautiously optimistic about Starfield as well, but waiting til we see it to get hyped.

Starfield, Avowed, Final Fantasy 16 and GoW Ragnarok. Maybe Spiderman 2 on sale. The first one had its moments but overall pretty dull. If Fable turns out good I might bite the bullet.

CatLady

Selfishly plays on Xbox Purr-ies X
Starfield
Hellblade 2
Stalker 2
Avowed
Fable
Indiana Jones
Project Mara
Outer Worlds 2

Also looking forward to these but not sure if they're coming in our lifetime:
The Elder Scrolls VI
Perfect Dark
Everwild

Maybe:
Redfall
Only because it's Arkane since it looks like crap

Well, it's a Playstation games until it's not.

Its a console exclusive that's getting a PC release. They've said nothing about the PC release date being staggered. Forspoken another PS5 console exclusive from Square is releasing day one on PC.

I find these super impressive but no one is actually playing and finishing this stuff. Maybe Civie11

Why would you want a game like Indiana Jones to be a FPS when you could have cool melee, a whip and different moves

  • God of War: Ragnarok (The PC version because we know its gonna happen!)
  • Forza Motorsports 8
  • Ghost of Tsushima (Because its gonna happen on PC, bruh)
  • Gran Turismo 7 (This is the game I'm most excited about if it comes to PC. If not, FM8 it is)
  • Perfect Dark
  • Starfield (Not really my type of game, but I'm really intrigued)

ps5 will get the games sooner. Pc maybe will get them.
I'm pretty sure the rollout of PS games on PC will pick up major speed. These are major players for the PS so the PC is assured a port (GoW2, Spidey2 and Wolverine)

Did they announce it was coming to PC day 1? I thought it was still up in the air if it was or wasn't.

But you can have all of those, in first person. Which if they get it right, would be a game for the ages. Did you not play Dark Messiah to see how melee looks like there ? Or Zeno Clash ? For moves, Dying Light 2 just came out, i already mentioned Mirror's Edge. Also Ghostrunner. Look at the whip in the video above. Look at the grapling hook in Dying Light or Halo and imagine a whip adjusted along those lines.

The reason i want Indy to be an FPS (and it almost surely will be one) is because everything would instantly be better just by being first person instead of yet another tired 3rd person where you watch a character model do shit, completely decoupled of any feedback or feeling. Its almost surely an fps though. Its Machine Games, who did Quake 1 add-ons, Wolfenstein games and then previously Syndicate 2012, Riddick 2004.

I think this thread can be renamed to upcoming pc games as soon as the PS5 is widely available and a solid number was sold. Guess 2024-2025. It's just so much money and meanwhile even the fanboys are used to it so that shouldn't be an obstacle to Sony.

It's not really the same. You can do so much more with animations in 3rd person than you can in first person

Starfield, Avowed, Kotor remake on the PC for me.

Will probably get a PS5 just for Spiderman 2, I'm a big fans of Venom as villain.

Some other titles are just teaser though, like project Mara. Same goes to Chinese games like Black Myth Wukong and Project Eve, looks impressive but they are just tech demo at this point.

Street Fighter 6, God of War Ragnarok, Spider-man 2, Wolverine and maybe Hellblade 2.

God of War Ragnarok, Spider-man 2, Wolverine in PS5, if they ever get a PC port -which is likely but not- don't expect it to be released before minimum 2 or 3 years after the original PS release, once they sold all the units they could on PS, discounted them, price dropped them and included them on PS+. Before porting PS5 games they'll want to port PS4 only and some PS3 games, some of them remastered (with maybe extra content or bundled with other games) and to release them on PS5.

As an example, I think they'll release Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales plus a GoW collection or two with the older games before Spider-Man 2 and Ragnarok. I also expect them to release a bundle of TLOU1 remake + TLOU2 PS5 and to port them to PC, or to make a Bloodborne (pretty likely with a new DLC) remaster for PS5 and PC. And to release all these titles before any PS5 only game or any game listed in the OP.

Why is FF16 listed as a Playstation game?
Because it only has been announced for PS as a timed console exclusive.
