I'm excited most for Spiderman 2 and Wolverine to play them but I'm really intrigued as to what Indy Andy Jones will be like, as in genre and playing perspective.
You dont have Contraband there but I'm pretty excited for that too, hopefully it's a good Smugglers Run successor.
The Senua thumbnail is hilarious what a chonker! Imagine the noise of a wailing walrus along with that image and tell me its not funny. Really highlights the only bad thing about that demo, should've had the giant as the thumbnail.
Hopefully Indiana Jones is a FPS, which probably is. The best perspective. God knows we dont need another 3rd person game on the market, we're drowning in them
Well maybe not all. Don’t see any rumors about returnal yet.
I actually think Returnal should go to PC. It should get some hardcore players hooked.
Indiana Jones FPS? I don't see it. And.....I don't want it. Third person action adventure all the way.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a Tomb Raider and Uncharted attempt.Hopefully Indiana Jones is a FPS, which probably is. The best perspective. God knows we dont need another 3rd person game on the market, we're drowning in them
Im sure it will be focused on being action adventure. Just as having the best perspective of all, first person. I know console focused players are usually enamored with 3rd person because thats the only thing they knew on consoles. But think about it. When games nail what they're trying to do, being first person is ALWAYS unique and memorable. Those games that nail their gameplay in first person become talked about for all times. Dark Messiah, Mirror's Edge, Riddick, Titanfall, etc. Do you think if Mirror's Edge was some run of the mill 3rd person game anyone would have gave 2 shits about it ? It's the fact that it was in first person and doing parcour that made it stand out and be talked about 15 years later. The unique feeling that only being in first person can offer. If you were instead just looking at a character model jumpin around, who cares. It would have basically been another platformer.
Look at this Castlevania Doom mod for what could be an indy in first person
Well, it's a Playstation games until it's not.Why is FF16 listed as a Playstation game?

Its a console exclusive that's getting a PC release. They've said nothing about the PC release date being staggered. Forspoken another PS5 console exclusive from Square is releasing day one on PC.
Why would you want a game like Indiana Jones to be a FPS when you could have cool melee, a whip and different movesHopefully Indiana Jones is a FPS, which probably is. The best perspective. God knows we dont need another 3rd person game on the market, we're drowning in them
I'm pretty sure the rollout of PS games on PC will pick up major speed. These are major players for the PS so the PC is assured a port (GoW2, Spidey2 and Wolverine)ps5 will get the games sooner. Pc maybe will get them.

Did they announce it was coming to PC day 1? I thought it was still up in the air if it was or wasn't.Its a console exclusive that's getting a PC release. They've said nothing about the PC release date being staggered. Forspoken another PS5 console exclusive from Square is releasing day one on PC.

I think this thread can be renamed to upcoming pc games as soon as the PS5 is widely available and a solid number was sold. Guess 2024-2025. It's just so much money and meanwhile even the fanboys are used to it so that shouldn't be an obstacle to Sony.I'm pretty sure the rollout of PS games on PC will pick up major speed. It's not really the same. You can do so much more with animations in 3rd person than you can in first personBut you can have all of those, in first person. Which if they get it right, would be a game for the ages. Did you not play Dark Messiah to see how melee looks like there ? Or Zeno Clash ? For moves, Dying Light 2 just came out, i already mentioned Mirror's Edge. Also Ghostrunner. Look at the whip in the video above. Look at the grapling hook in Dying Light or Halo and imagine a whip adjusted along those lines.
The reason i want Indy to be an FPS (and it almost surely will be one) is because everything would instantly be better just by being first person instead of yet another tired 3rd person where you watch a character model do shit, completely decoupled of any feedback or feeling. Its almost surely an fps though. Its Machine Games, who did Quake 1 add-ons, Wolfenstein games and then previously Syndicate 2012, Riddick 2004.
Because it only has been announced for PS as a timed console exclusive. Why is FF16 listed as a Playstation game?
I think game was listed in the GeForce leak alongside Gow Uncharted and Crysis 4.I agree just weird not mentioned in any of the leaks.
