Finally got a PS5!

So, I got lucky and received an email from Playstation to order a PS5. First one I got a few months ago went to my junk folder. I found it too late, and the link had expired. So, I ordered last Tuesday and received it Wednesday night. I sprung for the extra 5 bucks for express shipping.

Mother of God is this thing big! Going to have to drop some shelves to make it fit. Got some amazing black Friday deals and picked up Rachet and Clank, Ghost of Tsushima, Deathloop and Spiderman Miles Morales.

Fired up Rachet and Clank and wow is this game beautiful. Love the gameplay and insomniac really did a great job updating while staying true to the prior games. Controller handles great and love the sound and feedback.

Overall, I am very impressed!

That's great you were able to track one down. I seen a display model at Best Buy, can't believe how tall it is. Online images don't show the scale very well.

Just in time for a gimped version of Godfall. What a time to be alive.

Enjoy Astro's Playroom and check for any game you already have that has a free update. Also claim the 20 PS plus collection games. Some of the games have PS5 patches to run smoother. Some classics there.

Congratulations. Leave the shelves alone and place it vertically. It's absolutely hideous when it's placed horizontally. Mine's on the floor next to the tv cabinet.

Do you have a good tv to complement it?

Finally: return Deathloop while you still can. Absolutely disappointing game. Boring, just 4 maps, mid gunplay, repetitive. Get Guardians instead.

Congrats, got mine recently myself from Sony Direct. Make sure to set your game visuals profile default to performance mode so you enjoy that delicious 60 fps gameplay.

Congrats I also got mine a couple of weeks ago. Going though Death Stranding and I really like the game more than I thought I would. Overall the console is pretty impressive.

Spent a year playing a lottery just to win the right to buy one. It was annoying but it's worth it sticking it to the scalpers.

I tried it, I just can’t warm to the gameplay and long cutscenes…
