I mentioned it somewhere else and it was seen as hate, but honestly some of the textures on the houses are very low, physics of the the water are also not really next gen, among other things. Will wait for DFs analysis.

Yeah, I said that Forza Horizon 5 was the star of this show but I think I have to change it to Gamepass, it’s crazy how much content they’re pouring in going forward, feels like every single game they showed ended with the day 1 on Gamepass logo!

For me ending on Red Fall would of had more impact if it was shown like back4blood. Trailer with mixed in snipets of gameplay.

The conference would definitely have been improved if there'd been a cinematic third person adventure featuring a sassy-yet-haunted white male protagonist and a feisty-yet-not-too-feisty girl sidekick going on an adventure where they press X to push button.I know it's shit, but at least is free* shit... A+

Plagues tale 2 isn’t an exclusive is it? i Thought the first was so much better than it had the right to be. Amazing graphics and vibe. Looking forward to the sequel. It wasn’t gamepass day one was it?
As a Game Pass sub, an A+. Overall, like a B. Games shown were fantastic imo, plenty of nice gameplay. Lots of release dates revealed. SoT collab was awesome.
Had there been less leaking prior and if there was a megaton like an acquisition or Kojima if you're into that, it would've elevated it to A or 2018 levels, but it was still a fantastic showcase.

They have a better slate of games than they've had in some time. Game Pass continues to increase in value. They have big games coming that I want to play. Forza Horizon 5, Halo, Stalker 2, Starfield all look great. This conference just confirmed what I already knew which is MS is on an upward trajectory.

Hellblade 2 is long ways a way like I suspected.
Russian apocalyptic ballet was prob best thing in the show.
A gunk copy where you shoot balls instead of squirting.
2 identical zombie/vampire co-op games.

Didn't really dare to show Halo.
Pretty much what I can remember from the show.

Great show! Best Xbox showcase since it's 360 days! Notice how most AAA 2022 release dates are Series X/S exclusives! No cross gen! I'm excited! Xbox finally stepped it's game up! Give me The Ascent, Flight Sim, Halo Infinite, Starfield, Redfall, Outer Worlds 2! And many more! Xbox is back!

This was not what they needed, still nothing that shows why XSX is supposed to be the worlds most powerful gaming console. We are already playing games on PS5 that look better than anything MS showed today, I have both the PS5 and XSX and I still haven't seen anything I have to have on XSX. You can throw game pass up at people all you want but if the games on the service don't actually appeal to me where's the value? The Ascent still looks great but it's only a timed exclusive, I will be playing it on XSX because it's coming to it first but if it's good I'll buy it on PS5 when it launches there too just to help support the developer.

This year is a wash for me Xbox-wise. I will try out Flight Simulator but I don't see plying it long-term. Same goes for Halo. I'm not big onto MP, nor racing, so I think I am left out as a gamer this year as far as new 1st party games. I'm hyped for Avowed, Fable, ES6, Outer Worlds 2 and Starfield but nothing else looks good. What have they been working on for the last 5 years other than churning out another Gears and Forza?

No acquisitions or major wins. What happened to the big Kojima game that was hyped up? Where were the 3 acquisitions?
STALKER 2 and Forza Horizon looked good. What Forza Horizon showed is the sort of presentation I was expecting for Fable, Avowed, Hellblade 2, Perfect Dark etc. Yet they weren't even there

This Halo MP trailer did less for me than the last campaign trailer.
For sifi MP shooter current gen Destiny still looks hotter to me.
Something about everyone in very similar looking Halo armor is boring to me.
Starfield has my interest. But still no idea of gameplay. Makes me think there is zero chance it ships next year.

Just at a glance there are seven games in 2021 I would have bought for sure that I won’t need to because they will be on GP day one, and I’m not counting Forza since I buy the ultimate edition anyway. That’s just absurd value for a 12.99€ sub.

Stalker 2 looked great. All in with Plague Tale Requiem. Halo Infinite looks much better based on the MP they showed but would have liked to seen the upgraded campaign. Showed more gameplay than last year and was overall better than last year but since 2013, this year is my 5th or so ranked Xbox showcase. Game Pass is great but when they say every game or how many games will be on Game Pass, it's mostly AA/Indie games which I have almost no interest in at all. The Ascent looks great and that's day one. Redfall has my interest but disappointed that there was no gameplay. Contraband sounds for me but need to see gameplay first. Best game of the showcase for me was Far Cry 6. It is what it is though.
