It's literally in the video?
58 FPS vs 49 FPS.
Note the "up to", it's not always that far ahead.
It's probably an outlier correct?

around 10% hard to say exactly couse scene is dynamic and drops are not in same second on ps5 and xsx, we have to wait for vgtech spreadsheetDF says is 10% is that wrong and is 15%? Just asking. Haven't seen the video.

Ah, this gives me flashbacks from the Hitman 3 thread.Remember that due to locked 60fps the Xbox could be even higher under normal situations
At heavy scenes the Series seems X seems to have 10% better framerate... the heavy scene they are talking about is 50fps vs 45fps.DF says is 10% is that wrong and is 15%? Just asking. Haven't seen the video.
Well that's undoubted when the scenario is solely limited to the GPU usage, series X shows his advantage. Things change when both CPU GPU are stressed.around 10% hard to say exactly couse scene is dynamic and drops are not in same second on ps5 and xsx, we have to wait for vgtech spreadsheet
On ps5 too. What's exactly the point?
lol unexpected endingAnother thread?

The point you linked to shows the XSX drops to 48 and the PS5 drops to 46, am I missing something here? Where are you getting 58 vs. 49 from?
No, you must see frame by frame.Up to 18% better performance in RT mode for the Series X, and 4x loading speeds on the PS5.
Seems to be showing off the strengths of each system.
Dude...both are extremely close. All these chats about you no console war and another one for a better performance who barely someone can perceive?lol unexpected ending
Anyway, another one for Xbox but personally I don’t see how RT is worth it if they have to stop to point out such small differences. I played the demo on PC at 1080p 144fps without RT and it was definitely a more pleasant experience.
I guess the living room and couch and surround sound could get me to choose the XSX version, but I’m not sure it’s worth losing 84fps.

I wonder why this is the "most important thing" ...
The load times aren't the end of the world tbh; I'm thinking Capcom aren't leveraging DirectStorage API (let alone SFS) on the Series platforms here, but they might be tapping into Sony's SSD I/O stack more directly. Considering the marketing partnership, I would be surprised if Sony did not provide them the assistance there as needed.
Most important thing in this new comparison, the last one didn't show it, this one did, we already knew how it runs.
It's probably an outlier correct?
Look at those console monkeys!!!! this GIF is just perfect, you want performance? Drop the cash and go PCAnother thread?
Odd, it shows 58 vs 49 for me. It happens just before the spoiler section.
Yeap the new feat are the loading times. Most important thing in this new comparison, the last one didn't show it, this one did, we already knew how it runs.
Not the same scene... you need to look the same.Odd, it shows 58 vs 49 for me. It happens just before the spoiler section.
That entire scene is a huge gain for Series X. That particular image is at the 15.39 mark.
That part is 53 vs 49.
You literally cherry pick one second before Riky's image snapshot.Itś not the same frame. The Xbox equivalent frame (look at the water) has 53fps.
There's a difference, but not significant.
Jesus, such a nice job on Xbox Series X and PS5.Resident Evil 8 Village Benchmark Test & Performance Review - Raytracing Quality | TechPowerUp DF should put High end pc in the mix just for the lol's
He picked the actual same frame in both. You literally cherry pick one second before Riky's image snapshot.
That entire scene has Xbox with a better frame rate almost the entire time.
its not the same settings so slow downJesus, such a nice job on Xbox Series X and PS5.
Which in the real world is 5 seconds faster. To put this in context, we came from 30 second to 2 minute loading times on previous gen consoles so in the end it's as negligible as we expected.Loading speed 5x faster on PS5
It still not to the point of 1 to 7s difference.Well in theory the PS5s I/O has more throughput. That definitely helps.
No, i'm just making the right way, i.e, comparing the exactly frame. You literally cherry pick one second before Riky's image snapshot.

8 second Vs 1 second isn't exactly that?It still not to the point of 1 to 7s difference.
The VRR will come in handy for those drops in RT mode.
Of course not. They obviously don't put maximum presets on consoles.its not the same settings so slow down
Thanks for the image, anyone can just look at the FPS graph at the bottom and see one is just under the 60fps mark and the other is just under the 50fps mark.
As have all the comparisons so far since launch (barring maybe Hitman 3), but that didnt stop 20 page threads full of bollocks.Dude...both are extremely close. All these chats about you no console war and another one for a better performance who barely someone can perceive?
