Was about to buy XSX in summer, then realized that if you aren't in Xbox supported country, then you need to use VPN to activate Xbox Live or Game Pass. Screw that.
If MS doesn't want my money, then I sure as hell won't jump through hoops to give it to them. I'll stick to PS5, once it becomes available.

I have nothing and I doubt that I will purchase any of them this year unless either Starfield (Series X) or Final Fantasy XVI (PlayStation 5) end up releasing in 2021.
After hearing about all the issues with the DualSense drifting and witnessing the delays of most PS Studios games (both announced and unannounced) I have desisted of my initial plan of purchasing a Digital PS5 in the spring and now I think I'll buy a gaming PC instead to keep me entertained until some heavy hitters arrive to Sony's console.

PS5 owner (still have OG and pro PS4) no plans to get an Xbox, it's cheaper staying in the Sony ecosystem for me, I have my pc with RTX 2080 and I find the series X to be a shoddy console (crashing left and right for my neighbor's son).
Once they get the Bethesda's stuff rolling I'll just get back gamepass on pc.

I'll probably get a PS5 in a year or two when there's a solid amount of exclusives to play.

I have series x and blessed with quick resume feature , makes me finish games in a practical way and not just saying to do it with no clue of doing it , the ps5 for me is a last resort choice in case there's literally no games in the market.

But I can easily wait longer. The hype is completely gone since they are big game for me (except Demon's Souls).

Several people in my country are saying that if you try to redeem a gift card or game pass card on Xbox/Microsoft website, it will check your IP address and then give an error. So it doesn't matter to what country your account is set to.

Got my Series X in shop just a few hours before lockdown here in UK.
So very lucky. Only popped in to look at a laptop for my mum and saw someone walking out with Series X. Still near impossible to find online.
Not been at work since then, so plenty of time to get used to it.

I have my XSX and gamepass so have more games to play then I do time. I'll get a Ps5 at some point... But no rush. Will probably wait for a slim and when a few of their top exclusives have released

I know ,do it in the console, Microsoft is aware of all that but don't talk about it, change the local country and use pre purchased game codes , don't use your credit card on console, the vpn will improve your traffic for better online experience but it's not mandatory. Use pre purchased credit for games and dlc ,don't spend it on sub services, buy them separately, you can't do it in the console and don't know why but just do it as I said.

I have a PS5 at the moment. I was clever enough to go to my local shop and pre-order. But if you're desperate for one then I urge you, wait. Right now it's not worth bothering upgrading. Even though I was getting one anyway, 2021 isn't going to be enough to make it worth it, or the launch line up.
