Also let's be truthful, Souls games are as easy or hard as you want to make it. You can overlevel if you want and roll over every boss in sight but it's still a skill based game so even for the new players who want to use all of this extra gear early on, they will be still be skill checked. This won't carry them all the way through.

Ring of Longevity? Ritual Blade?
Those items don't exist in Demon's Souls.
It's either fake or they renamed the Cling Ring and the Kris Blade, either way having those from the start would be pointless since one is from 1-1 and the other from 2-1.
The rest is junk, besides the Legendary Hero soul and Renowned Warrior soul.

Soundtracks alone can be worth 10-15 dollars. I've spent waaaay more on various movie and game soundtracks. Throw in the items. Makes sense to me. The base price for the new generation seems unfortunate though, and I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't last.

Bluepoint has most likely added new weapons, rings and armor to the game. Red eye knight armor wasn't in the original either. And there is a new Schythe too if you pre-order. Which is fine by me, because compared to later entries in the series, Demon's is pretty thin when it comes to equipment.

It would be a shit show if you couldn't. They will be spread across the game, but I doubt they will be OP as early game gear.
Even with the special edition, you probably need to reach the Nexus to get them (probably from Stockpile Thomas) or they unlock with the ability to level up (after completing 1-1).
