Massive list of Switch Nindie games [Up: Exclusive content detailed in OP]

Steamworld Dig 2!! :D
So happy they're making a sequel.

Steamworld Heist looks great but it's not really a genre I like to play, but Steamworld Dig was such a fun game.

Well, I just sent another email to Nintendo. My first email, just mentioned our game with links to more info; this time, I did more of a sale pitch (our best-selling game has over 700k owners just on Steam, Cosmic Star Heroine was voted in the Top 40 Most Anticipated Games of 2017 on NeoGAF, almost a quarter of a million views combined on our 3 most popular youtube videos for CSH, etc.) so we'll see if we get any further this time.

Dude, tweet Damon Baker.

It's really not. Most eshop games don't get any attention but there's an absolute ton of killer games hidden in there.

Yeah, there's quality stuff there now. But compare the first 9 months of the 3DS or Wii U eShop to the current line up for the first 9 months of Switch and it's a night and day difference.

Just kind of a shame it's not at launch and they're obviously going to reboot it all for the third time in a row.

Yeah, I know it's a different architecture/OS from Wii U/3DS, and Sony basically did the same thing with the PS4 (none of your PS3 downloads carry over), but it's still a shame. It took years for games like Duck Hunt and Donkey Kong 64 to show their faces on Wii U's VC and they're most likely going to disappear again for awhile.

I wish devs can figure out a discount system for getting a game you already own on another platform. Not really interested in double or triple dipping at full price.

Damn, still can't believe the Switch dev kits haven't become available to most as of yet, hope you hear back from them asap.

Urge to buy a Switch rising.....

What are the chances next week that Amazon/BestBuy get some in stock online? I won't go in early Thursday Night for the launch to try for one.

All this added multiplayer makes me wonder if the version of Skyrim Bethesda is developing that's "not based on original or special edition" is designed to have local co op so you can quest together with friends.

This Direct made me realize that I value strong showings of new, exciting indie games more than I do the Virtual Console. I was so anxious to hear how the Switch was handling VC, but mainly because I half expected Nintendo to be handling the brunt of software output on this thing. But directs like this made me realize that I don't value them as much as I thought I did.

That said, I still want Switch VC to be awesome. And include GC titles somehow.

Hope it works out, CSH is definitely something I wanna play away from my TV.

Nice mix of previously released games, upcoming titles, and altogether new announcements. I'm still sticking to PC as my indie gaming platform, but I don't think anyone can complain too much about that lineup.

HD RUMBLE HD RUMBLE HD RUMBLE. Very excited.

Curious about NBA Playgrounds. Patent was filed in June 2015 by Saber Interactive (Timeshift and Halo: Master Chief thing).

Whoa whoa. Calm down. I'd be ecstatic if they even added in HD Rumble support.

Somebody brief me on Battle Chef Brigade: does it have co-op or local multiplayer? Every other thing about it seems perfect.

Is the ability to capably define the context of an exclusive an Nvidia-only API, or are Sony and Microsoft just really fucking shady/incompetent/both? Props to Nintendo for actually stating plainly whether these titles are timed, console-exclusive, or fully exclusive.

This is what I've been saying since the announcement of no VC at launch. It's a crime how people seemingly rather want to replay 20-year-old games over brand new experiences that take full advantage of the hardware.

It is nice to hear. Though most of those might as well be Switch exclusives to me, cuz that's definitely where I'm getting them.

I'm thinking 'not likely'. Best bet is still going to be heading out to a physical store on Friday (not Gamestop, though) and hoping for the best.

Switch being the first to support Stardew multiplayer could be a big move. Really only serves to make me wonder how far behind the other versions are though.

this avalanche of titles has to be taken as confirmation that the "easy to develop for" talk wasn't a bunch of bullshit.

Was pretty impressed with the direct. Especially the amount of indies already on board. There were plenty of exclusive features, releases, etc... I guess I didn't expect this many indies already.

I hope Nintendo works with some of these Devs and release physical versions. If not, maybe Limited Run Games can get involved and release release some Switch titles. Several on here I would love to own Physical copies of.

I'm amazed that the the main thing making me think "maybe I should've gone for a launch Switch" is the barrage of Indie titles with some minor or temporary exclusivity.

Well they'll still be there when I get there...(but I want Spectre Knight now!)

Good luck! The Switch would be honored to have your games.

I am too, but that patent page said Saber Interactive abandoned it in 2016. Did somebody else pick it up?

Also, that Direct was straight fire. Nonstop. Time to invest in a large SD card.
