Tekken |OT2| Pulse of the Regionally Discriminated Knuckleheads

Yeah, one thing I want to see is how the characters are received when the game gets released.

My only real exposure to how people feel about the new characters are in twitch streams where people just say whatever but we're all Tekken fans in there. Being a super Tekken fan watching the game since beta in Oct 2014 has kind of turned me off to the "new" characters who are old news at this point to a nerd like me, many people still haven't played with the new characters, played the game, or have seen their storylines yet so, yeah we'll see.

Which is why I've held back on most of my opinions in the first place. Super Fans worry too much and pick out way too many details.

That would be Anna. Extremely satisfying gameplay style along with one of the best personalities in gaming.

Anna has a personality that goes beyond 'doesn't like Nina'?

What move was he abusing? I usually sidestep/sidewalk right against Law at about 1-2 character spaces away from Law. Just have to watch out for b+2 because it tracks in that direction. And you can usually react to b+3 and cancel your SS into a block.

Up close it's hard because b+4 and d/b+3 will keep you locked in.

Also d+4,3 is annoooying (was it d+4,3?). Never fight a Law player at close range...

Good news everyone. I'll be moving to a place that has Verizon FIOS. Goodbye Time Warner Cable. I'll never miss you.

This whole post is making me feel disgusted. WTF with the hideous customs and the trivialization of Anna's awesome personality. You're just squealing like the little piggy you are.

I personally think that move is incredibly good at the wall. In the open, it's pretty linear and launch punishable. I've Sidewalk'd it all the way to Law's back sometimes and murdered him. I think a Law player would rather use d/b+3 for its tracking and safety. Law's d+3 is another move I don't think I've ever successfully stepped so I think it also tracks when SSing right.

Awesome :) Congrats!

Awesome :) Congrats!

Thanks - I should finally have some consistent connections. Going from broadband to cable internet was one of the worst regressions ever. Verizon was contractually obligated to have the entirety of NYC FIOS enabled but they failed to do that. There's only small chunks of NYC that have FIOS and I made sure to move to a good area that did.

First world problems, etc.

This is the same company. We see two different iterations of another fighting game released in the same time frame that we're waiting for Tekken 7 to release.

If you wanna compare apples to apples, we can look at GGXrd and Xrd Revelator, which were both also in the arcades. I bought Revelator even though I knew I would probably never play it solely for the fact that it had a good model behind it.

Congrats for taking the "moral" high road?

I will never understand this. Games aren't exactly cheap and buying a game I won't even play just because it has a "good model" behind it?

Those are great. That first one was painful xD

You should see the number of games I have that are still in shrink wrap. I thought this was pretty common. Having a huge backlog of games does that.

So it seems KOFXIV and SFV going to arcades. Wonder if that'll affect Namco and T7 and force them on some action.

That doesn't mean that they'll be released to the same capacity as a Tekken or Gundam. You have to remember that even smaller fighters like under night in birth get arcade releases. It could range from having multiple rows of cabinets in multiple arcades to only having a single head to head cabinet in one arcade.
