Just finished Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink (it's on sale BTW) finally and I must say puzzles were rad, I might be slightly biased as I like steampunk stuff, also it's not long and not short, perfect length, I'd say.

Trial and Error for most fun and sense of accomplishment. Load a finished prison from Workshop for safe and boring fun.

Oh I mean just the important stuff.

I mean, I started the game without perimeter wall so prisoners escaped :p

Given that it's an Artifex Mundi hidden object game, I'm gonna guess, "perfect length" is 4-5 hours?

Except you didn't "have to" do anything

I put it that way but it's not like it was an ordeal. I didn't force myself or anything, I don't play games I don't enjoy. I meant I "had to" in order to win the challenge, besides they were there waiting to be played for months if not years, might as well try them out or else what I bought them for?

I can't access my badges page at all, community isn't working also. jeez volvo, why? It's not even Tuesday! oh wait... it is, bah

yup, 4-5 hours with extra episode (prequel)

edited: talking about sale, we have more and more VNs every day, still not a single time they were on sale visibly, be it daily or flash or community vote, that's discrimination, don't you think?

Oh boy, can't wait to hear ~500 devs finding excuses not to issue keys for previous owners.

Speaking of that, are they any up to date lists of keys that got added to bundles?
The igbwiki.com list wasn't updated in months and I bet I missed some games that got added in that time.

There's a new indie action rpg platformer by the name Anima: Gate of Memories. It's looking pretty good for the studio's first game. It's also refreshing to see an indie game not using sprite work. The game is going to beta at the end of January.

Next batch are the last dailies, right? After that it's probably recaps, right?

This sale sucks balls, no saving it unless everything goes for a dollar today or something ;__;

Speaking of Nekopara, has anyone actually played it? I'm looking for impressions. Was planning to get it, but I saw the trailer and it seems super generic and unfunny.

Edit: I'm on my mobile and I guess I was reading some old posts. lol

I wonder how many new members will come and say the sale was great when it's over...

Was great for me and there were some excellent deals for newcomers. Also sorry for being nosy but you have quiet a few games on your wishlist with rather high discounts, up to 80%. It's not like there's nothing left to buy.

Just to be sure : I can buy games on Nuuvem and activate them on Steam as long as I don't use a VPN and get no region lock message right?

I would add everything to my wishlist if I could, a game being on my wishlist can mean different things depending on the game, hope it makes sense to you.

Doujin fighter Dynamite Bomb is getting an English version from Playism. It's going to be around 9 bucks and there are more characters on the horizon to add to the original 8.

What blows my mind is that a small team can bring this over, but we can't get current versions of heavy hitter anime-esque based fighters.

Both of these are looking great

So I've posted here before about green screen issues with in-home streaming and it appears to be a bug with the latest Beta on Steam and NOT an AMD issue :D

http://steamcommunity.com/groups/homestream/discussions/1/619573787626490818/

Opting out the Beta on the host machine fixed this issue. Hurray.

I've never VPN'd for Nuuvem and haven't had any issues.

No one really knows, but personally I think there's a good chance the recaps will be the weekend deals, we've seen something similar before and otherwise it's sort of odd the sale ends on a Friday. But with the way the rest of the sale was designed, it almost wouldn't surprise me to get no recaps at all.

Is any of the DLC worth getting?

In my opinion, no. First of all cosmetic stuff like cars + clothes. Then you have that Jimmy stuff, you play as some bald dude generic missions, like killing someone or transporting something in the fastest way possible. Last thing is Joe's adventures, similar to the Jimmy missions, but these are at least connected to the story a bit and you may encounter some cutscenes there.

What's this now? Licensing nonsense?

I'll probably regret not picking up the Rise of the Dark Spark bundle for ~$20 on Newegg. I'm gambling that Activision won't pull it and it'll be lower priced sometime next year.

The Transformers licence just makes me nervous. Activision closed High Moon Studios and pushed out the latest Transformers game through another studio, which I'm sure did as terrible with the critics as its sales numbers.

I'm in a similar situation but with Kora, wasn't able to get it earlier in the sale and before that when, if memory serves, it was at -80%. They should at least do another deep discount before they remove it right? Right?...

I wouldn't worry too much about Korra. Activision has an ongoing contract with Nickelodeon, so it shouldn't disappear until 2016 at the very least.

Does it actually have support for the DS4 controller speaker? I picked it up on PS4 because I heard that feature was neat in this game. I thought it kind of was.

Nope.

Those features seem like gimmicks at best. I don't put too much value into them.

well, technically they "only" gutted them and then sentenced the remains to slow death (making CoD maps, I mean)

Let's just pretend they gave High Moon a quick death rather than that torture.

From an individual perspective, at least some of the members still have jobs.

so i beat yaiba the other day and here is my opinion about it :

GOOD:

- nice presentation
- good combat
- doesnt take itselft too seriously

BAD:

- no jump button
- automatic platforming
- not enough different types of enemies
- gets a little repetitive after a while

i think the game is fun but is best to play it for 40 minutes max and then wait maybe a day to play it again

It's not their first game, they did an awful Castlevania-like for WiiWare.

I don't want to give them hell since their games look interesting, and maybe they learnt from their mistakes, but keep your expectations in check.
