Guys....given that Sega are now developing on an even more powerful arcade board, the Linbergh, do you think this will prompt them to finally make Daytona USA 3 or Super GT 2?
Likewise, with X360 on the horizon, could they now be encouraged to pursue a next gen Daytona USA and/or Super GT game for home consoles? The list for the upcoming JAMMA show seems to indicate Sega is itching to revisit thier old franchises and from the "Model" era and deliver the true sequels their fans have been waiting for.
I'm going to tell you this right here and now....if there is ANY GAME I want more than OutRun 2 SP and RR 6, it is Daytona 3 and Super GT for Xbox 360. I am already barely containing myself with the possibility of OR2SP and the confirmation of RR6...but a new Daytona USA or Super GT for X360 would push me over the fucking EDGE.
So...what are the chances? What will Sega do with the Daytona and Super GT franchise now that Linbergh and 360 is upon us? One can only cross their fingers at this point. In the meantime I will continue to...
