Cyberpunk 2077 frame rate test showing the framerate/fps on Xbox Series S in the performance mode (60fps mode) added in patch 1.6.

The version tested was 1.6.0.0. The graphics options such as Depth of Field and Motion Blur were enabled for the footage in this video.

Xbox Series S performance mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 1920x1080 and the lowest resolution found being approximately 1422x800. FSR 1.0 appears to be used to upscale the image to 1920x1080. Xbox Series S also seems to be using Variable Rate Shading.

Xbox Series S in performance mode has some graphical cutbacks compared to Xbox Series X in performance mode such as: reduced texture quality (this applies to both modes), shadow quality and crowd density https://bit.ly/3RIME9C

But it is still an improvement over whatever version were before.

VRS? Interesting, I would bet that it was just a shit textures/models.

Impressive stuff

But how the hell does he know that the game is using FSR?

And I bet that's not VRS that he is seeing, just Chromatic Aberration. CA in this game causes a vignette effect that "blurs" the edges of the screen.

There's no VRS on any other version of the game

Great to see that they got a 60fps mode going on the S. Resolution is better than AC Valhalla in 60fps mode as well, not bad at all.

VRS was added to the PC version in the 1.5 patch, oddly enough there's no menu option for it and its just enabled by default if the GPU supports it apparently.
