the RTX remasters could be made the same way as Portal RTX, with Nvidia's RTX Remix tech, so I'm inclined to think those are also 100% true.

before RTX Remix was announced these RTX remasters sounded made up, but after the announcement of RTX Remix it all instantly started to make sense

I meam, technically it's already on PC in the form of the, currently MS Store exclusive, Halo 5 Forge edition. which gives you the ability to play custom games and make forge maps.

People have different tastes, PC gamers and console gamers play very different things typically, console ports are just nice bonus's for a lot of PC gamers, but not the main draw.
