Update:

-All editing will be finished by end of January
-Should debut in the first half of 2017
-They had originally planned on showing the first new episode during this year's Turkey Day, but they weren't ready :(
-Joel is sending a special surprise to backers who pledged at any "bonus episode" tier level this Friday. Something some "have been waiting for a long time."

I wonder if it'll be the new intro? Surely they have that in the can.

So, where can you download these classic episodes? I don't think I've ever bothered downloading mine, but my tier should have them.

Hmmm. Not showing up there.

edit: Nevermind. Never used the original unlock code that adds it all to my account as they add things.

Caught bits and pieces of the marathon yesterday. Top 6 was about what I expected, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm completely surprised that they managed to find and remaster two of the Season 0 episodes though. Going to have to check them out later.

Isn't it beautiful?

Huh, would have thought that dropping 80 bucks on the Classic Collection back during the Kickstarter would have gotten me access to these eps, but meh, it's no biggie.

Latest update has a note from Joel that there actually might be an additional "lost" episode that he calls "Episode #0," but he's not certain. So there's something to drive fans crazy for years to come.

Also, the silhouettes for the new season will be smaller with more seats similar to the KTMA setup/the movie scene below:

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
More seats make sense as the movies will most likely be presented in Widescreen.

Probably pretty close to the MST3k movie.

I don't remember the movie's seats being so high, and I hope the new season doesn't have them that high either. We don't really have safe zones anymore so we shouldn't need to do that

Ha, I had a similar thought.

"Here are those lost episodes you waited 20 years for...oh, and there might be another one out there that I don't know was even made"

Enk

makes good threads.
Got my t-shirt and postcards, but the stupid delivery person shoved it into the mailbox and bent all the postcards :-<

Last day to claim your free 10 dollars at riff trax.

Last year I bought The Wizard and that movie with the guys in the band who sing about being friends and they also are martial arts masters.

Thanks for the reminder.

I'm now trying to decide between Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny or Miami Connection.

Oh lord, Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny is painful. Three stores in one, none of them good. If you enjoy that kind of rifftrax movie, it's hard to top. Can't speak for Miami Connection

Miami Connection is one of the best bad movies ever made. It's entertaining on its own, but the riffing makes it even better (even if there's more low-hanging fruit than usual, you'll laugh even without the guys' help).

Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny uses a lot of riffs from the non-live version if that's the one you're looking at. You're pretty much getting a good short and a new middle story of Jack and the Beanstalk.
