Bayonetta and Nier Automata have accessibility options and they're great for it.
Those games have stylish maneuvers and tricks and combos. Yet Platinum was still able to provide accessibility options for those who have trouble with those things.
Some of the added accessibility options in Nier Automata are likely even because PlatinumGames listened to what Halfcoordinated had to say during his speed run of Transformers: Devastation last AGDQ. If people are unaware who Halfcoordinated is, he is a speed runner, a great guy who's always encouraging others and trying to inspire them, an accessibility advocate, and physically disabled himself. His condition lowers his coordination in the right side of his body so he plays all his game one-handed.
There's nothing wrong with adding accessibility to harder games. Even intense action combo heavy games like the one's PlatinumGames make. For some of you, you can simply ignore these option. It's not meant for you. For others it allows them to actually play a game at all.
