Gunsmoke arcade isn't very good, but people remember the superior NES version which really improved on the arcade. Some light rogue-lite mechanics for replayability and it might do well.
Ghosts 'n Goblins flopped horribly with Resurrection and I hope they rethink art direction for other remakes of classics. I'm not saying it needs to be pixel art, but early 2000's era Newgrounds flash animation ain't it chief. Gamesack Joe refused to play it and the guy is a big fan of the Ghouls 'n Ghosts.

Dark stalkers…. With a high Res 2D pixel art style. Will solutions it much better than the CG style of modern street fighter games.
Bionic commando….. if done right it could be special. Third person platforming with swinging mechanics( just borrow the feel from insomniacs Spider-Man games.) and some epic boss battles with huge mechanised contraptions that have been ripped straight out of hard ass 80s arcade action game.
Onimusha…. Sekiro and others like ghost of tsunimisha should serve as good inspiration. Souls like combat but in the onimusha world. I could dig it. I can’t get enough of these samurai games anyway.
Auto modelista. Bring it back. Same art style, better car handling, same city and mountain road inspired tracks. It need not be anything more than that. Maybe add multiplayer online of course though.
Ghouls and ghosts. They. Fought it back before and called it Maximo. Bring and back with its OG name. Could make a good 3D platformer with hack and slash mechanics if they really go to town and add depth to the combat ( combos, the importance of blocking, countering, couple projectiles and spells)
HD-2D remakes/ Sequels of stuff like gunsmoke, forgotten worlds and some of their shmups.
Marvel vs capcom anthology… and this time they need to do it properly…with with xmen cota, MSH, xmen Vs street fighter, MSH 1 and 2.
A new rival schools would be awesome…. But give us an anthology of the first two games. Just clean them up to look in 4K, but don’t over do it. Keep the original look. Then go to town with the visuals on rival schools three using the same engine as street fighter 6.

A new top down mercs sequel… proper 2D-HD pixel art. 4 player co op couch or online… big bosses… waves of enemies… power ups…. Good old simple fun.

Sure, but I'd rather they start from scratch with the RE Engine. I'm sure some stuff can help out, like many animations or something.

There was a rumor once about a "Mega Man Legends Legacy Collection". But obviously nothing ever came of it.
It's midly infuriating that Capcom have no problem financing stuff like Exoprimal but refuse to do anything with Mega Man, except for low budget mainline Mega Man games.

There's something seriously wrong with someone if they put down Street Fighter, Resident Evil, or Monster Hunter of any kind as their answers. Give those milked to death cows a break already and spare some games for the 20-30 year old dormant franchises.

As much as I want a new Dino Crises... God a Breath if Fire remake would be awesome.
When was the last time Capcom put out an RPG? And with games like Yakuza, Persona, Final Fantasy and Granblue doing well, its a chance for Capcom to get back in the game with that.
I know Dragons Dogma is on the horizon but sometimes I just want some good looking classic JRPG fair.
