GTA 6, New screenshots

Okay, I'll be the party pooper. I'm not impressed. Probably going to look better on PC, but that's speculation at this point.
The screen we're seeing are absolutely off pc builds some of these can't be ps5 pro even way to detailed and sharp like the one above

I just dont get it.
Probably too old to understand whats going on.

"Hey the new game that's coming on a different piece of hardware, it's a sequel, has more advanced graphics than the older one."

I just can't.
At this point on the industry? No, i don't understand it.

Everyone gets this kind of thing but you, I guess. In any case, you are making a way bigger deal about this than you should. Probably should drop it

Lol not at all, the upscaling artifacts are visible almost everywhere. Zoom in.

These are console shots, not pc.

By idiots. Rockstar releases gameplay 2/3 months before release just like with RDR2 and GTA V.

These screenshots also show clear upscaling artifacts.
I never trust screenshots anyway. But with the exception of a few they dont look unrealistically good to me, seems doable. But the one thing I do find odd is the inconsistencies in some shots where Jason especially looks very detailed and almost real and in that same batch not nearly as impressive. I don't think it's just lighting differences.

Damn game. It's the reason for all this fuss about the physical format. I'm not buying it until it comes out on physical media.

It absolutely is not. These things are decided months in advance and with all major publishers in the loop.

Rockstar probably decided they werent gonna make GTA VI discs for a year and a half.
Well, yes, it's a Trojan horse.

PlayStation committed a premeditated killing.

Those bastards at PlayStation.

What happened?
They downgraded the whole lighting system from the second trailer, scaled back global illumination, disabled RT shadows, low native resolution mixed with poor FSR upscaling.
If you want it to look like trailer 2 you will need to wait for the PC version, then you will need to turn ON path tracing or DLSS 5 Neural Rendering Filter.

LOL. LMAO even. Heard of makeup and artificial lighting for glamor shots?

Trailer 2 looks like path tracing when it barely even has RTGI on any crowd NPC outdoors or moving object, except may be vehicles? And where are these RT shadows you speak of in trailer 2? They are quite obviously shadow maps.

How do you plan to spin all this when trailer 3 looks about the same or better than trailer 2 and is still captured on console?

But cutscenes are still more detailed than gameplay.
That true? Honestly never really checked that out much.

At this point I'm just waiting for a new trailer to see if any big changes have happened and I have a feeling the answer will be no, and that'll be a good thing. In some cases with previous games a new trailer looked even better than the previous one.

This is marketing and it means nothing. "Stable framerate" is vague. Show it to me first
Nah, for me it was about the storms part, that sounds cool. I don't have a Pro but I'm sure Rockstar will have taken well advantage of the hardware, just like they did with One X for RDR2.

I'm really hoping and expecting that this game world is going to be amazing, it has to. Maybe a rather odd example but I recently played Goat Simulator 3 with my nephew and I was surprised how detailed actually that game world is.

Considering the game, I didn't expect that. Plenty of stores you can enter and have detailed interiors, festivals and markets, I saw people having a picknick and just general NPCs doing specific things in certain areas.

When I see this I can only imagine what Rockstar has managed to put in this game to have a lively and realistic world with the insane budget this has.

It's Rockstar. I'm not worried one bit when it comes to world dynamics. RDR2 with the storms and thunderstorms, and blizzards were absolute class. Definitely we will have more accessible stores in 6 than 5 with the amount of custom shops and all they'll bring now. I'm getting a Pro mainly for this game, that's how much I'm not worried.

crazy that we got preorders and everything but not a new trailer
I expect a 10-minute gameplay "deep dive". If they instead release another trailer that's just some cutscenes put together over a pop song, then I don't know what the fuck they're doing at R*.

They release those two months before the game is out.

Trailer 3 first, gameplay showcases two months out and another one a month out

Not before.
