Just to give u an idea how popular that shit was, worldwide, here in poland as soon as communism fell(1989) and we got access to western tv shows all lil kids were doing "miami vice" showing police badge move as part of acting cool, still vaguelly remember asking my dad to make me "fake miami vice badge" when i was like 8yo or so

I loved those tv shows when I was a kid. I see that reruns of Macgyver, LA Heat, Renegade etc. are getting more common in tv.
