This game is definitely worth the extra cash, but it's not like they care about my finances. That $100 could go to something far more important. Preordering the week before it preloads is about the same thing IMO
Not releasing on PC is stupid. Take Two could make a billion+ dollars more with as many PC gamers there are these days.

It's either digital or a code.
No physical edition except a box.
If you want it, just purchase a couple days before release and pre-load.
Even though Rockstar will make tons of money, they really dropped the ball.......all for the sake of 'leaks'......no, they did it to get the most profit from digital sales and no ability for players to resell later.

Even though i love GTA, my backlog is huge, is gigantic, its not even healthy anymore, i have like every console and vr headset but I have found some kind of peace now even though i drown in games and tech with limited time. I just taking my time, enjoying what i want, playing my games slowly. With all that said; why stress over GTA6, the game wont disappear, GT5 is 13 years old and i still play it sometimes. I will wait for physical disc edition, and if it never comes? Eh, who cares, just one less copy sold for Rockstar, no big deal. But, i can and will vote with my wallet and thats the way the cookie crumbles.

Spending in advance gives more anticipation and benefits. You also get it the second time during release.

Went ahead to get my "code in a box." I can always cancel the pre-order if it becomes more clear that an actual disc is coming later.

Seems everyones focus is solely on why would you preorder a digital game? Surely in most cases thats probably right- but its GTA and you cant expect normal sort of hype and rationality. Everyone has their own circumstances and justifications....

If there had been a physical version I would have pre-ordered it in a heartbeat and payed.. A LOT for it. Digital only? No way, won't even buy it. Why would anyone feel the need to pre-order a digital title anyway?
