you are correct as well. In addition to SSS that I pointed out, there is slight DoF blur on their skin too. Their skin is actually not in perfect focus. Something in the foreground is always much sharper and in the sweet spot.
This might actually be my favorite shot in all of the material. I don't even care that it's a bullshot. Getting all this rendered in a game engine warms my heart. The translucency/inner reflections and refractions in the glass that actually seem to take real info from the background. The DoF bokeh shapes for each individual light in the background, with a dense cityscape. BELIEVABLE lighting on Lucia that is inline with her surrounding. So much variation in light response between the left and right side of her dress. The hair density, shadowing and specular highlights. *chef's kiss*
The only thing not looking
perfect are the olives. Probably not in the BVH to get that extra GI bounce.
This game will absolutely sing with a next gen PT patch/PC release, but if this is photo mode on base PS5, it's still an incredible achievement.
