I remember seeing a TV commercial for burn.cycle and it seemed really neat. I really would like to try it.That was on the Phillips CDI, right?
My pick is voyeur
There was an adventure game called Nirvana, which was pretty cool.I remember seeing a TV commercial for burn.cycle and it seemed really neat. I really would like to try it.
I have a soft spot for Supreme Warrior since it was the last thing filmed in the old Shaw Brothers "Shaw Town" backlot. Probably my favorite one is Corpse Killer though.
Just FYI if you have a PS4, a few of the FMV games like Corpse Killer and Night Trap got pretty nice 25th anniversary editions.
Gabriel Knight 2 the beast within was pretty damn good
was Supreme Warrior the first person fighting game on Sega CD?
I wish i could hear this song in studio quality withour sfxRoad Avenger.
I know I'm gonna revive
When I am...
On the road
I finally got to play this years later on my iPad. I remember getting really excited that it could come to SEGA CD, then I got really excited that Nintendo bought the console exclusive so that is would come to their new CD add on.7th Guest
To this day I still have nightmares about it.Phantasmagoria, some really awful puzzles in it though.
But I also have fond memories of this, probably my 2nd favourite one:
Spycraft: The Great Game
The praise for this game was off the charts in the 90s. All the gaming media unanimously agreed it was the greatest game of its kind. Maybe the greatest game in this style that could possibly be made.
But I've never met anyone who actually played it. An early example of compromised gaming journalism?
I always wanted to give it a try. Maybe I'll dust off the ol' Win98 box and have a go.
Yeah. The FMV really adds to the game. I wish they kept doing it in the sequel, but nooooo......Don't think this counts since the FMV was only used in cutscenes, but man, Jedi Knight had some cringe-kino in there.
Ah. I will have to track that one down. I assume it is overpriced on eBay.
nobody played fox hunt?
Both of the games in the series had some really disturbing scenes. Especially, what the magician did to his wives. To this day I still have nightmares about it.
Phantasmagoria: the PC game
Anyone remember playing this? I was 12 at the time, couldn't sleep for a week, actually, it's the only thing I can remember that scared me so much in my life. I mean, killing someone by pushing intestines down her throat, WTF, and that everyone thought it was magic....www.neogaf.com
